If your like me… you’ve probably never heard of this sneaker brand: “Troop”. It is a company that released their signature sneakers some time ago, but the rumor is they didn’t do too well on their first release. This NYC based company recently showed face again at a recent fashion showcase, and impressed quite a few of shoe loves; myself included. There are a few pictures below for you to look at, but the ones above really stand out to me.

As I have mentioned in the past, I always seem to be attracted to kicks that have black/light blue on them. What also stands out to me about these sneaks seen above is that they remind me of the S. Carter’s that were released by Reebok some years ago. I honestly want to know what everyone thinks about these kicks, so please take 15 seconds and leave your comments; good or bad. Enjoy!

For those of you who wanted or had a pair of the Nike Air CB34 Charles Barkley sneakers back in 1995, you will be glad to hear that Nike will be re-releasing these kicks this fall. I know the new Spiderman came out some time ago, but its never too late to post a nice pair of custom sneakers. I have seen a few different versions of kicks dedicated to Spiderman, and I must say this is one of the best. Nike has done it again by releasing these new canvas Nike AF1 shoes. The pack will include the 5 colorways seen above, and who knows what else they might come up with over the next few months.

The rumor is that these sneaks were released in Japan yesterday, and will be available in a few other online shops by August 8th. I know lately it seems like I am only telling you about hard to get sneakers, but isn’t that what makes them so valuable? This new issue of Sole Collector takes us all back down memory lane discussing many of our favorite sneakers from the 1990s. The featured article covers more than 250 sneakers from times past, including plans of a possible shoe line from the Hip Hop artist Nas. I am sure many of you are familiar with the amazing work that the guys from C2-Customs.com does, but if you not… take a look a few of these recent custom shoes they created. What you are looking at above are a pair of Nike Dunks inspired by Nike Air Max 95 sneakers.

Some time ago Nike released the Air Max 90 Homegrown sneakers with Amsterdam’s State Magazine; but the colorways were all green with an orange inner. These Nike AM90s seen above the colors have been switched this time around, but these sneaks still have the cork design on the inner sole, and around the shoe on the outside.

If you ask me…. these kicks are much better than the first; and I’m not even a fan of orange. If you want a pair of these shoes, I hear Marqueesole.com is the only place online to do so. The only size they have available is a size 9.5, and the price is $1699.99 due to the fact they are extremely unique sneakers. There are a few more pictures of these sneakers inside. Nike Cortez is one of the few Nike shoes that have been around for years; many are not even aware that next year the Cortez sneakers will be 40 years old. Therefore it is no suprise that there is a huge community of Nike Cortez sneaker lovers. Anyway….. We all know Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets has endorsements with the Nike/Jordan Brand, so we expect him to wear Jordan sneakers; like any of the other athletes that are apart of Team Jordan. The difference I have noticed with Melo is that he has sneaks that all of us love, want, and in most cases never will be able get our hands on. I did not post this image of these sneaks because I am a fan, but I just had to express my disappointment in these kicks from the Jordan brand. They were released on July 21st, 2007 in all Niketown stores and a few urban shops. Is it just me or do these Air Jordan 11 White/Varsity Maize-Azure shoes hurt you eyes? As hard as it is for me to say about these shoes….. Enjoy!

There were so many of our male audience who commented and emailed about the Women’s Aqua Air Jordan VIII shoes I posted a few days ago, myself included, so I had to get some Air Jordan 8s for the fellahs. I am not going to say whether I think the Men’s or the Women’s AJ8s are better, I’ll leave that up to you.

These sneakers are due to be released October 22nd, 2007 for about $140, BUT, for those of you who just can’t wait….. I have some good news for you; you can get a pair now from the following websites: Air-randy.com or Marqueesole.com. I was told the sneakers on these sites are authentic, but I am not positive since I have never ordered from them.

The last themed sneaker Greedy Genius released was dedicated to Las Vegas; this summer it will be to South Beach, as you can see with the South Beach Phantom kicks above. Some of you have been asking what the Greedy brand has been up to lately; Brandon of GG recently told me personally that Greedy Genius has busy working on more products due to release this summer, starting with these shoes.

These Phantom sneaks feature a South Beach embroidery on the heel, premium leather, and a free matching pair of GG socks; all seen in the pictures below. These limited shoes were released a couple of days ago in select stores, so it might be a bit diffucult to get your hands on a pair.
