Nike “Multicolor Patent” Pack – Dunk High

The Nike Fall 2008 “Multi-color Patent” Dunk High is colorful but less colorful than its counterpart, the Nike Air Max 90. We have discussed about the Nike Fall 2008 Multicolor Patent Air Max 90 shoe in a previous post.

This Dunk High has a white toe box that has lines of perforation radiating from a central point. This toe box is surrounded by a shiny blue colored leather mudguard. The blue color is very cool. The midsection of the shoe is in smooth, white leather.

The shoe lace panel and lace are white. This shoe has many major areas in white. The Nike swoosh is yellow. This coordinates with the inner lining of the shoe, which is also yellow. There is a large panel of red colored leather at the heel of the shoe.

The midsole of the shoe is white and red. The top half of the midsole is white while the bottom half is red. There is a line of machine stitches running across the white portion of the midsole.

This shoe has white, red, blue and yellow colors. The colors have been widely spaced and separated by white areas, so that the shoe looks clean. This looks traditional enough to be used as a formal shoe.

The Nike “Octagon Quilted” Dunk High has begun to hit the shelves of Nike retailers around the world. These new kicks come in a variety of colors and are a good option for those who are looking for some bold shine to their wardrobe.

In the pictures featured here, you will see the black, red and blue versions of these Nike sneakers. As you can see, the shoes offer solid allover color. The only places you see a small change is on the stitching and on tongue tab of the shoe. The glossy finish and quilting gives these sneakers a high impact look. Sandstorm Air Force Ones

Chris Hui from C2 Customs is back at it again with a new pair of custom Air Force Ones. These sneakers are called the Sandstorms and represent the desert colors worn by soldiers in the Middle East. Hui has used his experience with past camo customs as well as close direction from his clients to create another fantastic pair of customs.

Hui used the familiar tan, green and brown color worn by soldiers in Iraq as the primary color used throughout these Air Force Ones. The middle panel as well as the toe box are matched with the color used on the interior lining of this shoe. I think that the Sandstorms are fantastic testaments to the colors worn by soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I am a big fan of boat shoes for a casual summer look, especially when they are done in interesting colors and textures. Italian company Luca has teamed up Soar to creat this version of the boat shoe in a bright yellow ostrich skin.

The shoe has a Chukka-liike appeal and is definitely different. If you are looking for a summer shoe that will turn some heads, this one is a good choice. This collaboration is perfect for fall. Using rich chestnut brown combined with bright colors, the Stussy x Hectic New Balance CM670 comes alive. It’s a great mix of shades.

The first colorway featues neon green trim with the chesnut, while the second features orange. Personally, I like the orange because it’s a little more subtle and I associate orange (pumpkins!) with fall. The Stussy x Hectic New Balance CM670 pack will be released this weekend on August 2nd. Nike Fall 2008 “Multicolor Patent” Pack – Air Max 90

Nike has a Dunk High and Air Max 90 in multicolored shoe uppers. These have good quality patent leather. These sneakers are available at packers.

Let’s look at The Nike Air Max 90, which is shown in the picture. The toe box is white. The mudguard is in shiny, red leather. The shoe lace panel starts with green leather and it is reinforced with blue colored leather with a corrugated lien pattern. The yellow shoe lace is a bright touch to this multi-colored shoe. The Nike swoosh is yellow and lies in line with the yellow panel in the midsole. The traditional Air Max has a thick midsole. This one has a predominant white color theme for its midsole. There is a small panel of blue color that contains the Air Max logo. The outsole is white.

After all the multi-colors on the shoe upper, the designer has chosen white for the overall background color of the shoe. The white allows the different colored panels to stand out more. The back tab at the heel has a blue panel that overlaps a red colored panel. The inner lining of the shoe is colored green.

The best feature of the shoe might be the shiny red leather. I like this multi-colored, cheerful looking shoe.

Simpsons Vans Customs by C2 Customs

Fans of The Simpsons will be able to celebrate their love of Homer with custom sneakers available from C2 Customs. Chris Hui has been busy at work on some Vans slip-ons and classic sneakers that use Homer’s love of doughnuts as inspiration. The average sneaker fan can get a pair of Vans Simpsons customs for home and a pair of a day out on the town.

The white Vans slip-ons and brown sneakers used by C2 Customs are ideal for myriad occasions. The designer added pink paint for frosting as well as multiple colors of sprinkles to the front halves of both shoes to show Homer’s love of doughnuts. A reader who loves the cartoon dad and nuclear engineer can celebrate his favorite character by wearing the slip-ons to the beach before switching to the sneakers for dinner and drinks.

Rhythm Sandwich Hi – Purple

Japanese brand Rhythm has just released a purple version of their popular SANDWICH HI model. Purple is going to be very trendy this fall, so I’m sure this shoe will garner some attention.

Like all their shoes, the silhouette and design is very simple and clean. There’s no branding, logos or wild prints. The bright purple upper is accented with touches of gray and white. This shoe, along with two other colorways of the Sandwich Hi, is available now at Zozo shop for 15,750 yen (about $147 USD). Via Hypebeast.
