Here’s another colorway of the Air Jordan Melo M4 that is set to be released next month.

This Carmelo Anthony shoe will likely be a very popular choice because it can be worn for basketball, as well as everyday wear. The white shoe is glammed up with metallic silver and black patent leather that give it some extra pizazz. This Melo M4 is set to drop on February 16th for around $120.

Melo is having another stellar year in his fifth season in the NBA, he’s averaging 25.5 points and 7.0 rebounds (a career-high) for the Nuggets, who are second in the Northwest division right now with a record of 24-16.

The Air Jordan Melo 5 V is an understated basketball shoe that provides a great canvas for aspiring shoe designers. Custom sneaker lovers will note that the Melos shown above are kept relatively the same as when they hit store shelves. The designer added some red flares on the outside of the sole to give the illusion of fire as the wearer runs by. The most impressive aspect of the custom Air Jordan Melos pictured at the top is the subtle use of red on the interior of the tongue and the exposed top of the shoe’s insides. The sparing use of red keeps the integrity of this instant classic while making any sneaker fan wonder when these customs will be created in mass numbers.

 

In addition to the Jordan Melo M4 B-More Exclusive and the black version, which we wrote about earlier this month, the Eggplant Jordan Melo 4 will be released on November 23rd as well.

This eggplant colorway is expected to be limited as a Baltimore exclusive. These shoes are a tribute to the old Nike Eggplant Foamposite. The deep eggplant color is almost black but hints shades of dark purple.

As with all the Melo M4 shoes, these sneakers feature a removable ankle brace, as Carmelo thinks ankle support is the number one priority in his signature shoes.

I still prefer the B-More Exclusive of the Melo M4’s, or the Black/Taxi Varsity Red colorway that will be dropped in December. But these shoes are still pretty sweet. The highlight is the detailing of the Jordan logo on the heel.

The Jordan Melo M4 will be released in November with the B-More Exclusive, featuring a sweet black and metallic gold colorway. This shoe has perforated sides to help your feet breathe and extra ankle support.

The metallic gold is really slick and I’m sure these shoes will be hot. This special edition of the Melo M4 drops on November 23rd along with black on black M4 on the featured in the pictures below. The black/black version is more simple but also features yellow trim and some sharp blue stitching.

Two other colorways will be released on the day after Christmas. All these shoes will be priced at $120. My favorite pair of the group is the Black/Taxi-Varsity Red pictured last.

We all know Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets has endorsements with the Nike/Jordan Brand, so we expect him to wear Jordan sneakers; like any of the other athletes that are apart of Team Jordan. The difference I have noticed with Melo is that he has sneaks that all of us love, want, and in most cases never will be able get our hands on. With Carmelo Anthony’s Birthday in site Jordan Brand will release the Melo M3 B-Day edition. This Carmelo Anthony Shoe features a White/Black/Varsity Red colorway with Melo’s face on the back of each heel. The Puerto Rican Flag and his son’s name, Kiyan, on featured by his face on the left heel and on the right is his area code, 410, and his name. His b-day is on the 29th of May so it is fitting for these shoe to drop. They will be available in adult and kid sizes.

Although these sneakers look quite similar to the Melo 3 sneakers that Carmelo Anthony wore while playing on the Men’s 2006 USA team, they are reportedly the 2007 ASG(All Star Game) Melo Jordans that Mr. Anthony will be wearing this weekend. If you look at the picture below you can see the slight differences in that shoe compared to the one above (none of them by me):

Personally I like these ASG versions better than the others, but more importantly it is nice to see Carmelo finally get the chance to play in the All Star Game. Its been a while since we’ve seen any pictures of our favorite players putting our favorite shoes to the test, so I thought some of you might enjoy this. It sure would be nice to get my hands on a few of the player exclusives these NBA players are wearing in these pictures.

I am aware that we have already made a post about the November release of the Jordan Melo 3 sneakers, but when I saw this picture I had to share it. If you are thinking I posted this because of the faces that these two NBA players are making… LOL… thats not the case. After looking at their facial expressions I hope this is not what I look like when I’m playing basketball.

I posted this picture because not only am I glad to see two talented NBA players both wear Air Jordan shoes while playing professional basketball, but it appears that the Melo 3 sneakers are pretty durable. Carmelo Anthony is reportly 6 feet 8 inches, and weighs about 230 pounds… but the Melo 3’s seem to be durable enough to handle his size and weight.

As a weekly basketball player this is quite impressive to me because not all advertised “basketball shoes” last for any lenth of time when used as frequent and rough as I do. For those of you who play hoop on a regular, or those who are looking to buy a new pair of basketball sneakers, the Melo 3’s might be the way to go.

Carmelo Anthony’s first sneaker in his signature line is the Melo M3. This pair that is pictured is set to release at the end of November this year. D’Wayne Edwards who has designed some Jordans is the designer of this pair. The M3 will continue with the simple design trend that is part of the Jordan Brand. The shoe are said to have the ultimate form, function, and on court performance.
