Here comes the time for South by Southwest again! Every year, a festival of films and music occur in Austin, Texas every Spring time. Supra made a collaboration with Stubbs, an Austin barbecue restaurant. They released the special edition Skytop in a better colorway last year.

This pair of Stubbs x Supra Skytop was introduced to the market in very limited numbers of just about 1,000 pairs all over the world. Were you able to get one yourself? You may say that Ronnie Fieg contributed enough for the Asics by reviving its classic models GEL Lyte III and GT II but Fieg would not just stop. This time he will give away a sample pair of the Asics GT II on the Culture Shoq site. When it comes to shoe collaborations with Nike, team members of Fragment Design are not so new with the idea. It was just very recent that Hiroshi Fujiwara designed a Zoom Tennis Classic. There were also two brand new colorways for the Nike Air Footscape Freemotion, in blue and purple.

Both these pairs are in while sole of Nike Free which have upper matching Flywire threads and laces in black. The logo of the Fragment design can be seen on the tongue and heel loops. There are still no news on where to catch these brand new pairs but would you surely want to have one?

The Number (N)ine label of Takahiro Miyashita took a creative license with some two Converse models and created this collection. This is set to be released on the 13^th of March. It would both look as a modified version of a One Star and a Chuck Taylor.

The yellow pair has a colorway of yellow and put on a white sole while the other has light grey in color and sits on a similar sole. Both has asymmetrical shoe lace systems which the designer took and adapted from the classic Converse Odessa trainer. This is the design he always admired as a child.

Emerica extended a helping hand for the garage band The Goat & The Occasional Others with its first album entitled The Goat Speaks. The collaboration also resulted to two Emerica silhouettes which are the Reynolds Cruisers and Hi-Laced. This Air Force 1 Low is a result of a collaboration between Futura and Nike. Futura and Nike have been part of collaborations before, so both sides are familiar with each other. This latest Nike Air Force 1 Low comes in an Metallic Silver/White-Purple colorway. The shoe really catches your eye, as most of the sneaker comes in shiny Metallic Silver. Premium leather is used on the toe area, while perforated leather is placed on the heel and side panels. A dark shade of purple covers the outsole and tongue tag. White is seen on the Nike Swoosh, midsole, inner liner, and other areas of the fantastic sneaker. Im not really familiar with the other collabs between the two but the way they worked on this one, the others have to be terrific.
