The latest collection from sneaker company Greedy Genius is designed by Hue Vo and was dubbed DYNO. This vulcanized shoe features an adequately padded tongue and royal blue canvas and full grain leather materials for the upper, with just the right amount of metallic patent leather trim to accentuate the overall look.  The white eyelets for the laces make a nice contrast to the colorway.fThe

The Dyno will be launched initially in Europe for its Spring 2010 collection. As to when it will be released in the US, where to buy it and how much, come by anytime soon for these details and more updates!

Greedy Genius has created another colorway as part of the Ocean Runner Collection, the “Big Blue”. This particular model is composed of an overall blue nu-buck leather upper with full grain leather piping. Other features include padded tongue, padded reinforced back heel support, blue midsole and grey shoe lace. This latest colorway is expected to drop this year’s fall/holiday season.

Another new design from Greedy Genius’ classic high top model has been made. The Plaid Ocean Runner is a white, navy blue, and red plaid covers the upper with white sole. I have seen a lot of these plaid designs lately. I’m beginning to think they all might be running out of ideas? Nahh! Well in fact this one is a 1 of 1 Ocean Runners design. Legendary Japanese photographer Yone (Yasumasa Yonehara) and the American icon Greedy Genius have invented another new blend of colors for their Cool Breeze sneaker series. A suede/perforated leather upper with Yone’s photography worked into the panels is the hallmark of this great design. It is successful, stylish, yet at the samwe exciting, and really creative. The Greedy Genius is busy concocting all sorts of new and creative schemes to dominate the sneaker scene. The new website has been launched recently, and we all anticipate  the lineup originals and redesigned models with which the firm aims to gain dominance in this competitive field.

We love the Greedy Genius for its genius, and its inexhaustible greed which inspires it to churn out stunning designs all the time. In the Ocean Runner, which we sample here as a sign of the great ongoing dynamism at GS, we have a boat shoe that looks like a battleship converted into a transatlantic. So much power in such a curt design.

The pairs feature tonal nubuck uppers with external lacing details along the heel and side panels. Keep your eyes fixed on this space. We’ll update you when the sky splits, and the greedy genius conquers.

There appears to be a strange new phenomenon in the city of angels nowadays, with stylish shoes created by Greedy Genius hanging from wires, poles and similar high-reaching structures where you wouldn’t expect any shoe-wearing human being to dwell.
