The word is that Greedy Genius and Famous Stars & Straps will be unveiling a new shoe in limited release near the end of the year.
These shoes, designed by Travis Barker, feature black leather with a contrasting toe cap and heel. On the heel, the Greedy Genius logo is lasered in white.
This collaboration is all about the texture and it looks pretty sweet. The red toe is perforated, while the body of the shoe is in a luxurious embossed leather. But that’s not all, the heel area of the shoe features glossy black leather with the FSAS pattern in white print.ÂÂ

Greedy Genius and Barney New York is releasing yet another Phantom sneaker; this one is called “Bones”. These kicks consist of the premium leather materials that GG is known for…. as well as a nice clear sole on the bottom, and an extra pair of matching laces. This is the 4th pair of sneakers that the Greedy Genius brand is dropping this summer; the GG$ Crock Star sneaks. These kicks are made with premium crocodile leather, star patterns, and a white gel lower sole.

Greedy Geniu$ is back in full force with more products being released to the public this summer. The sneaks seen above and below are the GG Skate Lo & GG Harbour Master; they should be available in select stores during the first 2 weeks of August.
Both the layout and colorways used for these shoes were inspired by the well known boats “Nantucket” and “The Hamptons”. Just like the last featured Greedy Genius kicks I posted, these come with a free pair of socks & extra shoe laces. I’ll post prices in the next few days. Enjoy!
The last themed sneaker Greedy Genius released was dedicated to Las Vegas; this summer it will be to South Beach, as you can see with the South Beach Phantom kicks above. Some of you have been asking what the Greedy brand has been up to lately; Brandon of GG recently told me personally that Greedy Genius has busy working on more products due to release this summer, starting with these shoes.
These Phantom sneaks feature a South Beach embroidery on the heel, premium leather, and a free matching pair of GG socks; all seen in the pictures below. These limited shoes were released a couple of days ago in select stores, so it might be a bit diffucult to get your hands on a pair. Here is the latest model from Greedy Genius that is soon to drop. This model is so cleverly named “Hi-Top” being a Hi-top shoe. It is in the Miami colorway that work for the summer when it will become available in June. The shoe mixes up the materials with patent leather, suede, and some vinyl. Let me be the first to say that these are some ugly shoes. If however you like expensive ugly shoes you can check these out at stores like: Attic in San Diego or S&D in Brooklyn.
After numerous emails requesting info about whats new and coming from the Greedy Genius sneaker company; I finally have a little teaser for you. As you can see from the image above…. for the next few days GG is going to have a private, invitation only, showing of what we can expect to see from them in the coming months.

Yesterday I received a few emails from the owner of Greedy Genius with pictures and information on the upcoming GG sneaker release of 2007. Here are pictures of the full Spring 2007 collection that will be in stores soon. The official release date of these shoes will be February 17th, 2007. I am told that this time around not only will the sneakers be sold in selected stores, but the GG shoes also come with a matching T-shirt. More pictures from this collection inside. Enjoy!
For all those who have been waiting… here are images of the official Greedy Genius holiday release for this winter. The Release includes 4 sneaker colorways from the reflective pack that we wrote about a few weeks ago.
In this release you will find unique materials used such as carbon fiber, German camo, and others. Although this is a fairly new shoe company when compared to others, its sneaker products are only being sold in premium stores like Barneys. The owner of the company told me recently that he plans to release a Greedy Genius clothing line pretty soon; we will be sure to keep you updated with the progress. Enjoy!
Yet again Greedy Genius has come up with another brilliant sneaker release that continues to separate them more and more from other mainstream shoe companies. What you see above is a sneak peak of what Greedy Genius has developed to take jewelry to the next level…. sneaker jewelry. Did I mention that those eyelets are made with REAL DIAMONDS!?
The diamond eyelets are available in 14k white, yellow, or rose gold; and the eyelets are both removable and interchangeable. They fit into the shoe eyelet hole and allow the shoelace to still come through (as seen below). A set of 28 circle, star, or hexagon eyelets will cost you anywhere from $2800 - $6000. Who would have ever thought that in one year’s time the Greedy Genius sneaker company would have the opportunity to work directly with a billion dollar company like Toyota? As you can see in the commercial above Toyota decided to use Greedy Genius sneakers to pay tribute not only to young entrepreneurs, but also to the entire sneaker community.
In times past there was a misconception that the sneaker culture was associated with negativity, but this commercial shows the exact opposite. It is exciting to see such a large corporation like Toyota reflect the sneaker culture in a positive light; as well as the fact that a brand like Greedy Genius be apart of that. From day one Greedy Genius as a company has not been afraid to step outside of the box so to speak, and this is an example of what doing so can bring.
If you are looking for something new and innovative this holiday season the Greedy Genius Sneaker brand might have just what you are looking for. If you haven’t figured it out already, GG is going to be releasing a special holiday pack of shoes during upcoming holiday season. In this “reflective pack” you get four pair of sneakers that have four different colorways. What is special about these sneakers is that they are made with colored reflective and premium leather.
Some may like this idea, but others may not; personally I love the idea that this company is not afraid to take risks and be different from the other mainstream sneaker brands. This pack will be available to limited stores and cities sometime next month. I will be speaking to the owner of the company very soon, so I will find out exact dates and prices.
