New Balance seems to proclaim that it has created a new paradigm of balance and elegance in the footwear market, and judging by the quality of this design, we believe that they do have the right to be heard.
The upper of this pair is a mix of ostrich leather and the usual grainy white that we are more accustomed to. Is this a balanced design? Of course it is, as it is all white, but it is also heavy, mighty, and exciting. The difference between the balance of New Balance, and the balance in the designs of the many other brands maybe lies in this distinction.
New Balance’s enginners(!) draw our attention to the details of this design in the laces, the rear outsole, and the toebox. We don’t see any fault with this creation, and if anything, we love the audacious humility of New Balance in creating such a speaceful item. They will arrive at select US retailers soon.
