Cactus x Ubiq Ilis
While Cactus and Ubiq have teamed up together in the past, this collaboration is arguably their best work. The look comes together by mixing and matching different types of shoes. The result is a shoe that is laidback but slick enough to be rocked out on the town.
The three different color schemes all look quite different. One version has a black, white and salmon color scheme, topped by neon green laces. Another version has white, red and brown with bright blue laces. The third color scheme features white, beige and dark green, with dark orange laces. The laces used on these shoes are laces you’d usually see on a boot instead of a sneaker. My favorite is the red edition, but all three colorways have their merits. Via Hypebeast

Madfoot Predator Hi
Japanese shoe company, Madfoot has released three different versions of the Madfoot Predator Hi shoes. A lot of shoeheads have become fans of Madfoot for their advanced design and the overall quality of their shoes. These three versions each have their own flavor and will likely become popular.
The light color scheme pictured above features white, off-white and gold. The white and off-white are intermixed and the gold is used on the side of the shoe. There is a black colorway that also features a bit of black and the same gold on the side of the shoe. The third version is a shoe for ladies that utilizes a black, white and pink color scheme. The white version will probably be the best seller, but there’s something here for everyone. All three of these shoes are available right now at Zozo. Via High Snobiety.

Saucony Master Court 3 Hi
The Saucony Master Court 3 Hi Top is available right now in three distinct colorways - black/white, green and purple. These shoes feature a mixture of textures, including canvas and patent leather, which create a very interesting look.
The black and white version uses blue on the heel and inner lining. It is the cleanest looking of the three colorways. The purple and green editions have a fun casual look to them that may be appealing to the younger crowd. These kicks are available right now at Mita for only 8,190 yen ($79). Via High Snobiety.

Timberland Footwear Summer 08
Timberland has released their summer 2008 footwear line and some styles include a boat shoe, a slip-on and a chukka. The Cruisemaster II is the classic Timberland version of the boat shoe. This shoe features a full-grain leather upper and a rubber outsole.
The Switchfoot slip-on is an interesting looking shoe that combines leather and organic cotton canvas. I don’t like the appearance of this shoe at all, but some may find it comfortable and flexible.
For the eco-conscious, check out the Rippler Chukka, which features 30% recycled rubber in the outsole and 100% organic canvas. It’s deconstructed style makes it very lightweight and flexible. For versatility, they comes with two pairs of laces - one tonal leather and one colorful cotton. For more information on any of these Timberlands, check out timberland.com or a Timberland retailer near you.

Clae Summer 2008
Clae has been near the top of the “athleisure” category since their company launched in 2001. Their fusion shoes combine the comfort of an athletic sneaker along with styling of a casual shoe. Clae has been slowly gaining popularity and is now getting some attention from sneakerheads.
This summer, their collection features very simple designs and nice colorways that should appeal to a older, more sophisticated crowd. These shoes are expected to be available in July at oki-ni.

Creative Recreation Luciano Lo Vintage “Barney’s Exclusive”

This shoe is designed exclusively for Barney’s stores. It will be released in the Barney stores very soon.
The shoe starts with a black colored shiny leather rim border for the toe box. The toe box is white in color. The midsection of the shoe is gold colored. The shoe lace hole region has a reinforcement piece of grey leather. This enhances the look of the shoe lace region. The midsection of the shoe is gold colored. In the center of this section is the embossed logo. This logo is in silver color.
Running parallel to the midsole, there are two strips of shoe laces. One strip is on the gold colored leather. The other strip is on the balck colored leather. On this shiny, black leather is a single, white oar. The oar is standing and slanted at an angle to the shoe. Around the ankle and above the black leather panel , there is a gold colored panel. The back stab is white and so is the inner lining of the sneaker.
The midsole of the show is white and there is a line of machine stitiches running across, all along the perimeter of the shoe. I like the classy design of this shoe.

Lacoste Ibiza Two Tone
You probably know Lacoste more for their shirts than their shoes, but this new sneaker is worth a look.
The Lacoste Ibiza Two Two is a very subtle shoe that is ideal for summer time. It comes in four colorways - Green, Blue, Grey and Sand.
I really like the green version pictured above, which uses both a medium and a light green. However the other combinations are all pretty nice as well. The grey version, which also uses a black toe and pink details, is very appealing.

Mita Sneakers x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Flash Back 1994″

Mita Sneakers has collaborated with Reebok to work on the Insta Pump Fury. The theme was the 1990s.
The sneaker starts with a large, white colored toe box. It has neat rows of tiny ventilation holes. The pattern is so clean that it looks like an orderly section. The front of the toe box has a border of grayish colored material that has light brown spots or grains on it.
The toe box ends with the three panels up the shoe lace region. The colors of red, black and green are from the accents used in the shoe and they look good in this arrangement. The midsection of the shoe is covered in this large patent leather panel. The leather is really unique as it is shiny and genuine. It is not easy to get that in the market as PVC is usually used.
The panels around the heel are green colored. The green has a criss-cross pattern created by white, dotted lines. At the heel, there is a white piece of a hanger. At the tongue, there is also a hanger but it is in green and with a thin red stripe down the middle.
The midsole is green and white. On the white portion, there are small specks that make the white portion look interesting. I like the overall design of this shoe.

Visvim Kiefer Hi Patala
If you are a fan of Visvim Kiefers, check out the newest version, known as the Patala. With a rugged, old school look, these kicks would work in a lot of wardrobes. They are very versatile and while detailed, the classiness of the shoes isn’t lost within the details.
With four different color schemes, you are bound to see one that you like. At first glance, you might suspect that these kicks are more brightly colored than they really are. Those zippers you see on the top of the shoes are bright, however they disappear from view once you reveal laces.
These shoes don’t come cheap; they are available for 30,450 yen (about $300 USD). Via Re In Force/Hypebeast.

Saucony Courageous TR

Saucony is releasing a new pair of trail shoes called the Courageous TR as part of its Summer 2008 line. This new style is available in two colors pictured around this post. Saucony is going out of its way to attract all runners with the exciting, flashy blue/yellow colorway and the understated green/gray colorway.
The rough aesthetics used in designing the Courageous TR is a 180-degree turn from the simple, almost cartoonish appearance of other Saucony styles. The Courageous TR sole features deep grooves and strong treads that are ideal for off-road running. The exaggerated stitching and multi-color shoe laces may take a bit away from the overall aesthetic of the Courageous TR but they are unique when looking at the company’s catalog. Keep your eyes out for the Courageous TR as the summer months approach.

Ubiq Ilis
A few new models of the Ubiq Ilis sneaker have recently been released. The selection includes a leather standard model and a suede low in various colorways. The contrast stitching and single leather stripes are nice accents.
Personally, I’m not a real big fan of the standard model, but the low version is very nice. It’s a versatile sneaker that you can wear with just about anything. The colorways aren’t too bright or loud, but they have some flavor. You can get these now at Chapter World. 14,700 yen ($145 USD) for the Lows and 15,750 yen ($155 USD) for the standard version.
