Casey Custom Sneakers went back to the original gangster Al Capone with the Al Capone Converse All Stars. These custom Converse All Stars are hitting the market just as Public Enemies is getting ready to hit theaters over the Fourth of July weekend. The release of Public Enemies, a summer blockbuster about John Dillinger and the FBI, will increase interest in American gangsters from the 1920s and the Great Depression. The Al Capone Converse All Stars feature portraits of the Chicago mobster on both tongues from his conviction in 1931 for racketeering. Casey Custom Sneakers did a great job transferring this iconic imagery without sacrificing visual clarity or the gangster’s haunting stare.

The heel wrap, middle panel and toe of each shoe feature the Chicago skyline in all of its glory. The designer showed the Windy City horizon in order to show the extent of Al Capone’s criminal kingdom before he was brought down by the FBI.
