Friday we brought to you the first look at the Nike Zoom Lebron VI. The final product underwent a massive makeover to get what we have today. Now we look at the original LeBron VI design.

At first glance some might say it looks like it should have been the V but at a closer look its clear that this shoe took some things from the II and more notable the IV. This LeBron VI is based around the famous posite technology making a very comfortable basketball shoe. The black/red/white model was given a breathable nylon upper while the black pair wears a suede upper. Carbon fiber accenting is seen around the heels and the scribble print wraps around the shoe from heel to toe.

As you know this was scrapped by Nike and since renamed the Zoom Power. Rumors have it that these will be released as a separate shoe for those inquiring minds. As always some pairs are available now on ebay.

Yesterday we looked at the newly released Nike Blazer ACG Mid. Today we show you the women’s colorway that released with the men’s colorway. These too feature the same abrasion resistant canvas-like Blazer upper, that sits on the ACG sole. The top two eyelets have been replaced with a more sturdy book-like eyelet and ACG can be seen on in burgundy along the heel. The same picture is depicted on the hell tab, which I guess is safe to say will be standard on all models. Available now at MajorDC.

The Hectic x Mita Sneakers New Balance MT580 pack has been scheduled for release on August 30. One pair costs about 17,640 Yen at Madhectic.

This Pack is the 13th collaboration. Mita and realmadHectic put together their efforts to work on the New Balance MT580. They have designed 2 colorways. One is in green/turquoise and the other is in brown/yellow.

Let’s look at the green/ turquoise colorway first. The toe box is in turquoise. It is surrounded by a mudguard in green. The midsection has another panel of this green suede and it contains the shoe lace holes. The tongue is greenish-blue. This same color is used for the N in New Balance, a short panel above the midsole, and the inner sole lining. There is a collar around the ankle and this is in deep blue velvet. The midsole around the heel is light green. Around the base of the heel, there is a dark green panel of leather. Above this is the white backtab. Below the toe box, the midsole is white with speckles.

The brown/ yellow sneaker has different colored accents. One special feature is the midsole around the base of the heel; which is in grey cackle print. The toe box is yellow. The mudguard and midsection have brown colored suede. The tongue and inner sole are in orange color. Both colorways look attractive.

As the United States Men’s Basketball Team continues to devastate opponents, Nike prepares to launch a package for them, the Nike Gold Medal Pack. With the rate Team USA is going, the shoes have an almost sure shot of releasing, it’s only a matter of time. Rumors say that the shoes will release in House of Hoops, but it’s not yet confirmed. The shoes that may be included in the pack are the Zoom Lebron VI, the Melo M5 and the Kobe Hyperdunk or Zoom Kobe IV.

I found these custom sneakers from Guchimasta at the Nike Talk posted linked here. These unique customs capture the fun and frivolity of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbs that ran in papers nationwide from 1985 to 1995.

Guchimasta devoted a shoe for each member of this funny comic duo. The left toe box of these Your Kicks slip-ons has a picture of Hobbs making a funny face at the viewer. The right toe box has Calvin matching his precocious stuffed tiger with a goofy face and flexed arms. The collars of both shoes feature an orange/black tiger print that matches Hobbs’ fur.

The wearer of these custom sneakers can send a message as he walks past friends and strangers. The designer added a smaller version of Hobbs on the left heel and a picture of Calvin urinating on the right heel. I am not a huge fan of the car clings and T-shirts with Calvin peeing on stuff but everything else on these sneakers is a reminder of how much I enjoyed Calvin and Hobbs in the past.

The Air Force 1 has taken a step up in the new Nike Sportswear Air Force 1 Lux collection. These Air Force 1’s feature premium leathers, flush seaming, shaped tongue and cuff and a polished deubre.

12 colorways of this shoe will be sold exclusively at the 21 Mercer Nike Sportwear store via special order and will take 4 weeks to deliver.

Touching down just in time for back to school is the second color way of the Six Rings. Did I mention, it designed specially for the ladies (awwwwww don’t you feel special?). It features a grey nylon upper, midsole and sock liner. The majority of the shoe is a white patent leather and outsole. The Jordan VIII (8) inspired tongue is black, blue, grey and white. The Jumpman on the heel is vivid blue while the Jordan XIV (14) Jumpman near the toe box is a nice concord purple. Overall, these are a nice simple but still captivating shoe. “llego who have created these slick Air Jordan’s are worthy of giving Nike a run for their money. The color combination is very popular and no doubt works incredibly well but I think what really gives it that “wow” factor, is that slightly illuminative white tongue (Air Jordan III) to go with that red-turning-white sole that really lightens up the whole shoe along with that eye catching stitching.
