The shoes had the name & initials of his wife, with golden Swooshes and swirling flourishes. These were meticulously gilded in genuine 24 karat gold to produce the perfect gift for her birthday. A stylized emblem was created from her initials (R.R.) and gilded in place at the rear of the shoe; her first name was placed on the other side. Golden laces were used to accent the design.
