Sole Brother Customs celebrated Earth Day on Tuesday by unveiling the Earth Force Ones. These custom Air Force Ones celebrate the beauty and singularity of Earth for sneaker fans concerned about global warming and dwindling resources. I think the social message of these custom sneakers is overshadowed a bit by the exemplary design applied by Sole Brother’s designers.
The green Nike swoosh bridges the white and black spaces on the Earth Force Ones to show the unifying force of environmental responsibility. The light blue hue used on the heel tag matches the lush oceans of Earth. The most impressive aspect of the Earth Force Ones is the split picture of the globe. The white side is a blur of white and blue swirls and the black side features a realistic representation of our planet as seen from space.
The designer says that a portion of the purchase price will be donated to the Alliance for Climate Protection.
