Interaxionne Apparel’s Sant’Elia Nike Dunks

Long Beach’s Interaxionne Apparel has brought a touch of art and architectural appreciation to the custom sneaker world with their new custom Dunks. These Nike Dunks are based on designs by Italian futurist designers like Antonio Sant’Elia and Umberto Boccione, two artists for whom Interaxionne’s brain trust have great esteem.

The front panels of these Nike Dunks have flowing green/gray shapes that run up to the top eyelets. Interaxionne used a red/black cityscape design on the heel in honor of Sant’Elia’s architectural work. The toe tag features Nike lettering with the green color from the front panels in a juxtaposition of the two opposing designs.

Additional photos and information on these Nike Dunks are available at Interaxionne Apparel’s MySpace page linked here.

pretty decent the design on the front is nice because it doesnt stand out too much but its still very detailed

The Futurists were closely aligned with Mussolini, with their founder Marinetti declaring that Futurism expresses the ‘dynamic spirit’ of Fascism … does this make Nike a fascist corporation?
