Jason Dunks 2.0
December 18, 2008
After shoe and clothing company Sneakfiend asked Mizzee Customs for custom Dunks based on Jason Voorhees in the spring, the designer got a flood of requests for more. Mizzee Customs has responded to repeated requests for an encore with the Jason Dunks 2.0. These customs were created for another client and depict Friday the 13th’s villain in the bloodiest way possible.
Mizzee sets the scene on the right shoe by showing a nervous man covering his mouth with his hand. It is clear that he has seen Jason but he is unable to run away in time. The left shoe shows the carnage created after Jason cuts off the head of the unnamed character. Jason stands emotionless as the character’s head is separated, leaving behind a lifeless torso and a spurt of blood.
The designer wanted to take a new and more graphic approach to the Jason Dunks 2.0 than his original customs. His second go-around with Jason Voorhees is a smashing success, capturing the cold-blooded nature of this famed movie character. You can reach Mizzee Customs at mizzeecustoms@aol.com if you want your own horror customs or want to lobby for a Jason Dunks 3.0.

MIZZEE!!! Damn I was just looking at this guys work yesterday and was thinking to myself “why hasn’t MyAirShoes featured this guy?” and then BOOM! This really is what it truly means to customize a shoe. Hopefully you other people who reeeallly suck at it will quit and make way for real art. I was getting sick of seans ugly crap and not only his dumbass but all the other people who thought (and still think) that their work is “tight” or “fresh” just because they have the paint….no….this is the REAL DEAL. Once again you people thinking youre gonna make a buck off of customizing shoes just because you THINK you can are done. This is the new standard. I hope you blow up really huge MIZZEE!!! Peace!
