Last in NFC East Dunks

D@ Prince Customs showed his NFL rooting interests with the Last in NFC East Dunks. The Washington Redskins got off to a fast start this season behind new coach Jim Zorn and running back Clinton Portis but collapsed down the stretch. D@ Prince’s love of the Philadelphia Eagles made these customs a labor of love against his football rival.

The Last in NFC East Dunks commemorates the bottom-dwelling 2008 Washington Redskins on a pair of plain Nike Dunks. D@ Prince wrote out Redskins in yellow block letters on the left shoe and recreated an oversized Redskins helmet logo on the right shoe. The toe box features a yellow line surrounded by white borders similar to the stripe on top of a football helmet.

D@ Prince wrote his client’s name and birth date on these Dunks in white above the outsole. While the designer probably took great joy in busting the chops of his favorite team’s rivals, his work did not suffer from his passion for football.
