Lucky Air Force Ones

These Nike Air Force Ones were posted to the C2 Customs website recently. Chris Hui was hired by his barber Lucky to produce a pair of high-quality customs. Hui responded with a pair of custom Air Force Ones dubbed “Lucky” that honor his barber.
Lucky asked for a pair of sneakers that looked like they had just traversed puddles of blood. Hui’s custom sneakers take this initial suggestion to a whole new level. The saturation of red paint on the toe box trails off rapidly as the viewer’s eye drifts back to the Nike swoosh. There are spots of red paint underneath the laces and beneath the swoosh to create the splatter effect.
The “Lucky” Air Force Ones are well-crafted but I am not sure I would want to go to a barber with a pair of bloodied sneakers. I am a big fan of the font and size used for “Lucky” on the back heel. It stands out from the white heel panel and provides a nice counterpoint to the bloody toe box.
