While the rest of us recovered from New Year’s Eve, Diversitile Custom Clothing got off to a fast start in ‘09 with the Marcus Jordan Air Force Ones. Diversitile was contacted by a friend of Marcus Jordan, a top-flight high school basketball player and son of NBA legend Michael Jordan. The designer created these Air Force Ones to give as a gift to Jordan during the holiday season. These photos were found at Diversitile’s Customsnkr.com blog linked here.
Diversitile created a stylish basketball court pattern on the heel to show where the junior Jordan is making waves. The toe box looks like patent leather and is framed by a cool purple color. The designer faded the Nike swoosh from bronze to purple, cutting across the basketball court pattern without distracting the eye with too much clutter.
The Marcus Jordan Air Force Ones are separated from other basketball shoes with a few one-of-a-kind elements. The bronze MJ logo and his signature #5 above the outsole let everyone know that these shoes belong to Marcus Jordan. I love the vibrant colors and cutting edge techniques used on these Air Force Ones, once again vaulting Diversitile Custom Clothing above competing sneaker artists.
