In recent years, more and more attention has been shown to the classic Negro League days. The Negro Leagues were where African-American baseball players played before the integration of Major League Baseball. Nike is celebrating the Negro Leagues with this vintage release.
These Nike Air Classic BW sneakers are intentionally aged to go with the old school flavor of the Negro Leagues look. With a colorway centered around maroon and different shades of white, these kicks certainly aren’t flashy but they do have a deep meaning.
