NikeAir Rift Women was based for the 1996 design. The sneaker was made from a phylon midsole with an air sole unit. It has a solid outsole for maximum shock absorption. It has the Nike air technology where air is encapsulated to provide maximum cushion during strenuous activities.
The air technology was invented for any standard impact in any high impact activities. Nike has used this technology for the past 20 years.
