This new Nike SB P-Rod 2 by Hiroshi Fujiwara was released recently. The colorway is all black. The toe box’ midsole is made from leather with tiny black dots. It looks to be of a rough texture. In contrast, the toe box is made from smooth black leather. Just opposite the start of the shoe lace, there is a group of tiny holes in a nicely arranged cluster.
The black tongue flap has a small orange colored Fragment logo and a signature of Hiroshi Fujiwara. The panels that contain the shoe lace holes are made of shiny leather with a darker shade of black colored polka dots. Below these panels, there is a section of leather in square shaped print. This section looks like a quilted section. The Nike swoosh is attached over this quilted patch. The inner soles appear to be from this same quilted material. There is an orange colored back stab at the ankle of the sneaker.
The front portion of the midsole is white. The outsole is orange. However, from the middle of the shoe, it starts to have a thin line of orange colored midsole. At this section, the sole looks like a sandwich of white in between orange lines. I like this formal looking shoe.
