Paid in Full Air Force Ones by Revive Customs
July 26, 2008
Revive Customs partnered with youth arts project Mobile Jam Fest to create this unique pair of Air Force Ones. Mobile Jam Fest runs contests for young fashion designers including shoe design contests. The winner of the latest shoe design contest won this pair of Air Force Ones courtesy of Revive Customs. I am sure the winner is thrilled to have such a great pair of custom sneakers from a renowned designer.
The theme of these shoes was “Paid in Full” and uses imagery reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto game series. The right side of the shoe features a bag of money with a dollar sign on the front that is typical in cartoon bank heists. Revive Customs put the grill of the getaway car on the other side of the shoe.
I love the colors used by Revive to bring this interesting design to life. Readers can learn more about Revive’s work by checking out the blog linked here.
