Royalty Nike Blazer Mids
October 2, 2008
UniverSoles tried to create a custom sneaker fit for a king or queen with the Royalty Nike Blazer Mids. These Blazers feature a purple/gold/black colorway that is reminiscent of the crowns, cloaks and thrones of royalty in the past. I found these pictures on the UniverSoles Customsnkr.com blog linked here.
The Royalty Blazers are framed with toe boxes and heels painted in gold. UniverSoles used an inexact pattern of purple and black stripes running across the shoes between the gold bookends. The golden swoosh melts into the heel to show the excesses of royal wealth.
UniverSoles was hit or miss when adding little accents to the Royalty Blazers. The golden stripes across the purple tongue look great as you look over the entire shoe. I am not a huge fan of the gold dots on the outsole because they look tacked on at the end. On the whole, however, I like the work of UniverSoles on the Royalty Blazers.
