The Air Force Ones shown above were developed by the designer behind Smooth Tip Productions. Smooth Tip’s custom black and purple sneakers were produced awhile ago but they look appropriate for The Joker in this weekend’s big release, The Dark Knight. The designer kept the colors simple while adding intricate layers in black paint.
The wearer can hold these Air Force Ones on an angle underneath a light and find an entirely different shoe. These sneakers are basic black/purple Air Force Ones that are stylish without knocking anyone’s socks off. Every reflection of lamp light off these shoes shows an intricate glossy pattern that can be difficult to see from far away. I like the fact that Smooth Tip did not change the white outsole which breaks up the solid black and purple on the upper portion of these Air Force Ones.

I agree with you nkats, this shoe wouldnt look nearly as good with a colored midsole. But the artwork on these is brazy. Black on black nice choice, it alomost looks as if its different material instead of a design.
