TTK customized a pair of Air Force Ones in honor of presidential candidate Barack Obama back in October shown in the MAS post linked here. After President Obama’s inauguration in January, the designer decided to customize a pair of Nike Blazers to honor the country’s first black president. You can find additional information on customs by TTK from the designer’s website linked here.
The TTK Obama Blazer IIs are white with faded red stripes running across the middle panel to the toe. TTK painted the heel tag and tongue blue to create the red/white/blue colorway of the American flag. The designer created two portraits of Obama just above the Nike swooshes on both shoes. Obama looks thoughtfully into the distance on the left shoe and flashes his smile on the right shoe.
While I loved the TTK Obama AF1s back in the heat of the campaign, I think the Obama Blazer IIs are superior due to the designer’s mastery with American imagery. The mingling of red, white and blue behind Obama shows that TTK is not just a customizer but a sophisticated sneaker artist. If you want to see more of TTK’s work, you can check his original Obama AF1s at the post linked above as well as page 91 of April’s issue of Vibe.

whoa im feelin these obama blazers right here. creative
i dont see the purpose of all these obama shoes anymore he won its over
I feel this depiction doesn’t do its justice. The first image was “ok,” but after the jump, I just shook my head more in disbelief of Obama smiling. The front/top view is worthy of a thumbs up tho. the red and blue laces definitely stand out from the white.
OBAMA SUCKS!!!!!
my president is black
