My entries on TTK custom shoes have drawn lots of comments from sneaker fans looking for more. The prolific designer is back with another pair of custom Nike Dunks called the Submerged Safari .5. You can trace this project’s development by looking at the photos in this post. TTK’s deliberate approach to design yields another pair of great customs.
TTK says that that the Submerged Safari .5 is a melange of three different designs melded into one. The canvas for this colorful experiment was TTK’s favorite shoe, the Nike Dunk High. The sneaker features interesting elements painted in wild colors including purple and gold. TTK applies a gray/black pattern to the back panels to complete the safari look. The designer used a familiar pattern behind the Nike swoosh with black marks set against a teal background.
