JB Classics has unveiled a few pairs of high-tops for its upcoming April releases. A design that caught my eye was the Peddler Brainchild. This limited-edition design by JB Classics will hit a few stores throughout the world by the end of April.
I am not sure I would rush to get one of the 240 pairs of Peddler Brainchilds when they finally drop. JB Classics makes some great sneakers by instilling their unique aesthetic on mid-top and high-top canvasses. The nubuck toe box and interesting texture from side to side are attractive parts on their own. I don’t think the Peddler Brainchild ever gets off the runway in terms of complete design.
I haven’t worn these shoes so I cannot comment on comfort, heel support and the like. The turquoise laces and soles do not mix well in my mind with the gold embossing on the tongue. There are too many disparate elements on these upcoming JB Classics to make them a must-have. You can check out the JB Classics web page here to compare the Peddler Brainchilds to some of the stylish shoes made by San Francisco-area company.
