No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you . You are looking at a pair of Reebok PUMPs that appear to be made of out rubber basketball material. Yes… it is the same rubber material that is used for basketballs that a lot of us used to play with in grade school.
These sneakers are supposed to be released sometime this summer in 2007. Usually the DGK line does not have a PUMP tongue but I guess RBK wanted to make some changes for this very unique shoe. I find it funny that not too long ago we all saw a pair of Air Jordan XXII sneakers with leather basketball material. I guess we will have to wait and see which pair will be more popular when they are released. Enjoy!
