Nike Basketball – Spring 2010 Collection

Nike Basketball - Spring 2010 Collection

Nike Basketball - Spring 2010 Collection

Sweet spring, with its rainbow-colored dress of butterflies and blossoms, enthroned on the pedestal of love and procreation, is now already on its way to sleep and vacation. As the vacation present, Nike’s master designers have created this Spring 2010 collection in a masterful feat of artistic and creative achievement, and we see spring smiling in her heart-roasting allure, as sneakerheads once again behead themselves in the mania induced by the unimaginable dazzle of this masterpiece.

Who can contest the power of the master designers? Who will doubt the beauty of spring? These two concepts are partnered with refinement in this sun-obscuring design the glory of which is sung by Klingons, Martians, and the Australian aborigins, in addition to the usual American sneakerhead.

Hail to the masters. Well done Nike. They will be released next year, with more information available some time soon.

The Nike KD1

I conducted a little experiment this morning.  I asked my grandsons, if money was not an issue, what pair of shoes they would buy right now.  The thirteen year old, without hesitation, choose the Nike KD1.  He said he liked the style of the shoe, and that “everyone” was getting them.  To me, that is probably the best endorsement possible!

The Nike KD1’s developer, Kevin Durant, has designed a sleek shoe that conforms around the foot like a custom made glove would fit a hand.  The shoe’s graphics are reflective of  KD’s spirit and dedication.  There are symbols of a post stamp and a security badge to emulate the occupations of his mom and dad.  The stretch panel around the lateral malleolus allows for the upper to conform around the ankle bone.  The need for tongue foam is eliminated by a thick open mesh. The rubber sole and the forefoot ZOOM AIR unit helps to give plush performance and smooth control.  The vibrant colors of black, orange and blue completes the package.

A shoe with superior styling and flashy eye appeal makes it winner.

Nike Sharkley – Carlos Boozer PE

Nike Sharkley - Carlos Boozer PE - #1

Another House of Hoops limited edition release is this Carlos Boozer Nike Sharkley PE. Though Boozer and his Utah Jazz were eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Lakers, Boozer and point guard Deron Williams are one of the great young big man-guard tandems in the NBA today.

This shoe features the colors of the Jazz away uniforms – blue, black and white in an interesting combination. The use of mesh, smooth leather and glossy patent make these shoes a unique choice. If you are a Jazz fan, grab a pair of these kicks or maybe the Deron Williams Huarache ‘08 PE. The Carlos Boozer Nike Sharkley PE is available at LTDOnline. Via Sneaker Files.
