Lacoste’s boat shoe – the Cabestan – gets a fresh look with these new colorways. The shoes combine dark supple leather and suede paneling along with bright orange and bright blue accents.

The Cabestan is one of Lacoste’s classic designs that gets an upgrade with a little infusion of color. You can get the Lacoste Cabestan Cup Troy right now at Atmos for 12,800 yen (about $127 USD). Via Hypebeast.

Timberland has released their summer 2008 footwear line and some styles include a boat shoe, a slip-on and a chukka. The Cruisemaster II is the classic Timberland version of the boat shoe. This shoe features a full-grain leather upper and a rubber outsole.

The Switchfoot slip-on is an interesting looking shoe that combines leather and organic cotton canvas. I don’t like the appearance of this shoe at all, but some may find it comfortable and flexible.

For the eco-conscious, check out the Rippler Chukka, which features 30% recycled rubber in the outsole and 100% organic canvas. It’s deconstructed style makes it very lightweight and flexible.
