Converse Presents Number (N)ine

The Number (N)ine label of Takahiro Miyashita took a creative license with some two Converse models and created this collection. This is set to be released on the 13th of March. It would both look as a modified version of a One Star and a Chuck Taylor.

The yellow pair has a colorway of yellow and put on a white sole while the other has light grey in color and sits on a similar sole. Both has asymmetrical shoe lace systems which the designer took and adapted from the classic Converse Odessa trainer. This is the design he always admired as a child.

New White Color for CONS CTS Mid

The last colorway that we may have all seen this CONS CTS Mid was in black waxed canvas. Now this new white colorway seems to be the yin to the yang. The upper section is all in white giving way for the red and navy blue stripes to be noticed along the midsoles.

There are red threads that act as border on the tongue’s top serving as additional accent along with some metal eyelets in silver in midfoot.

Converse Pappalardo Pro – Product Red

converse pappalardo

Converse teams up once again with another sports icon, this time around partnering with skater Anthony Pappalardo and releasing an entirely new line of collection kicks. The launching pair of Anthony Papplardo called Product Red is said to drafted for a humanitarian project.

These pair comes with a suede navy blue upper and some accents of white and red, quite a cool color combination if you ask me. Although it gravitates towards male users, you won’t be able to say that female sneaker fanatics are not qualified to wear it. The beauty of the design is that it looks like it can be worn by both men and women.

100 Ripples of Hope by Converse

Admit it, Chuck Taylor’s upcoming 100 Ripples of Hope Sneakers looks absolutely striking. And I bet you also thought it’s so hippie. Well, while both may be true, this Chuck Taylor pair is actually conceptualized in collaboration with (Product) Red. scott-patt-100-ripples-Of-hope-chuck-taylor-shoesFor some bit of trivia, Product Red is a licensed brand issued to its partner companies. The initiative is aimed at raising funds for the research of a cure to fight AIDS. The said project is the brainchild of by U2 frontman Bono and Bobby Shriver of DATA.

Back to the shoes, this Chuck Taylor shoes is scheduled to hit the stores come January of 2010. So now that you know that part of the money you will spend in purchasing a pair will be used for a good cause, perhaps it’s time you save up for this lovely shoes.

New Offspring x Converse All Star Hi 2 Strap with Matching Toys

offspring-x-converse-1

Check out the new Offspring Converse All Star Hi 2 Strap that comes with matching toys for everyong. I love these sneakers because they just poses the color combinations I love in a sneaker. Each model comes with its own matching figurine of the Offspring mascot, which is great as toy figurine collection or collecting Offspring toys.

The new Converse model comes in nice black and hot pink colorway and the other model comes in grey, light blue and red colorway. I like the black and hot pink model, though. The black model comes in nice black leather Upper with some cool hot pink stitches as accents lining the Upper of the shoe. Toe cap comes in white leather like all other Converse sneakers with the same midsole and black lining wrapping around the sneaker. I love the hot pin and white shoe laces that comes with it and a nice cool black strap with some pink accent. Definitely a must buy sneaker for me.
