If you haven’t seen the Nickelodeon cartoon “Dora the Explorer,” these baby Air Force One Mids may be the best primer. D@ Prince Customs created these baby AF1s to celebrate Dora and her adventures for a young client. I found these photos at D@ Prince’s latest post on NikeTalk linked here.

The reason why this shoe is successful is that the designer did not get too far away from his muse. Dora’s smiling face is depicted on the right shoe while the show title is set against a green leaf on the left shoe. These images look basic but D@ Prince put his heart and soul into creating these shoes.

D@ Prince finished these shoes with purple toe boxes and pink heel tags to show Dora’s favorite colors. He also added his name just above the outsole to help the lucky recipient remember his skills forever.

I wrote about D@ Prince’s foray into the world of Winnie the Pooh earlier last week by discussing his Big Pooh Dunks. D@ Prince also created a pair of kids Air Force Ones with a Pooh theme. The Baby Pooh Air Force Ones were found at the Nike Talk post linked here.

The Baby Poohs have a basic red/orange colorway that emulates Pooh’s T-shirt and fur respectively. The left shoe shows Pooh laying on his belly while taking a nap. D@ Prince showed Winnie the Pooh doing what he loves best on the right shoe. This depiction of Pooh shows him on his back while eating some honey from a jar. Both heels have colored blocks with random letters to match the Big Pooh Dunks.

It was clear that D@ Prince had a lot of fun creating this duo of Winnie the Pooh customs. His approach to the Baby Pooh Forces was to put the cartoon bear in the role of a small child. D@ Prince did a great job in showing the childish side of Winnie the Pooh while making sure the shoe was flawless.

D@ Prince Customs recently created a pair of women’s Nike Blazer Mids based on the 1990s Nickelodeon cartoon Doug. These customs feature Quailman, the super hero alter ego of the main character, along with his pet Quaildog. I found D@ Prince’s latest work at the Nike Talk post linked here.

The designer started by painting his client’s name along the heel in white lettering. He set the stage for Quailman’s latest adventure with a playful space background including colorful planets, willowy clouds and bright stars.

Newcomers to Quailman and Quaildog can check out the right shoe to find the character’s name in big red letters. The left shoe has Doug in all of his glory, standing in front of the eternal expanse of space with utter confidence. I love that D@ Prince created an action shot of Quailman with his cape flapping in the breeze.

I can remember watching the early episodes of Doug fondly. D@ Prince did a great job of living up to my nostalgic memories of this popular cartoon. I know that the Quailman Blazer Mids will make the client happy but I hope that they encourage people to check out Doug again.

D@ Prince Customs took on a slippery subject while working on the Coral Snakez Dunk Low. His client wanted to use a red/black/yellow snake as the inspiration for his customized Dunks. D@ Prince obliged, created these sneakers and placed pictures at the Nike Talk post linked here.

The red/black/yellow colorway is used in a striped pattern from toe to heel. D@ Prince added a leafy green pattern on the toe box to break up the snake stripes. The designer placed the words Moe and Skillz on the heels in white paint set against brown leather per the client’s request.

D@ Prince topped off the Coral Snakez Dunk Low with a matching snake pattern on the heel tag. This small touch shows why D@ Prince is one of the best sneaker artists in the game today. I look forward to checking out additional work by D@ Prince, hoping that they live up to expectations set by the Coral Snakez Dunk Low.

The designer started these shoes with yellow toe boxes featuring Spongebob’s silly face. The left shoe shows Spongebob sticking his tongue out while the right shoe shows the character holding back a hearty laugh.

The rest of the shoe is filled with familiar images to anyone who watches the cartoon on Nickelodeon. D@ Prince added some white bubbles and colorful starfish to complete the Bikini Bottom scene. He also matched the top of the tongues to the Spongebob toe box to cover all his bases. While my favorite shoe of the pair was posted yesterday, the Bikini Bottom Air Force Ones are necessary to complete the scene.

D@ Prince Customs decided to take a break from customizing adult sneakers to make some shoes for the little ones.
I will highlight both shoes in the next two days but the “I’m Ready” Air Force Ones offer a good entree into D@ Prince’s latest work. These kid’s sneakers are covered in yellow paint representing Spongebob’s bright square body. D@ Prince placed the character’s happy, smiling face on the toe box to bring a smile to other people’s faces.

The designer broke up the bright yellow with a brown heel that is similar to Spongebob’s pants. On the picture below, you can see that D@ Prince added the name Chris on the heel in white paint for his client. The “I’m Ready” Air Force Ones use simple color combinations to celebrate one of the best cartoons on Nickelodeon.

I found D@ Prince’s latest custom sneakers at the Nike Talk post linked here. D@ Prince has decided to use a pair of Nike Blazers as the backdrop for his tribute to the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have gotten off to a good start this year and the B-More Blazers seem to celebrate these early successes in the right fashion.

The B-More Nike Blazers are detailed without resorting to lots of flourishes or wild colors. The Ravens logo on the right shoe is intricately transferred from the team’s helmet with just enough purple, gold and black to make you feel like you are on the field. You can take a look at the white and gold Baltimore Ravens lettering on the left shoe to see D@ Prince’s commitment to replicating small details.

The background and accents on the B-More Blazer look great next to the Ravens logo and font. D@ Prince used gold paint on the heel and above the outsole to match the gold surrounding the raven’s head. The tongue is purple and gold to complete the Ravens theme. The black base color lets the purple and gold pop off the shoe. D@ Prince Customs released these Blazers just in time for the big Monday night game against Pittsburgh; hopefully, these shoes will bring Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis and the rest of the Ravens some good luck.
