Here we get a look at DC Shoes lifestyle oriented Life collection for Spring 2009. Using simple silhouettes, they use premium materials, solid colors and bold accents to create a verty good line-up.

Here’s a preview of the next chapter from the DC Shoes Artist Series Project. This time, they collaborated with toy brand UNKL to create a shoe with a lot of shine and a futuristic appeal, along with a matching vinyl “SUG” toy. This package will be released in January.

The “Graph” sneakers and the toy use a white and silver makeup. The sneaker has a perforated toy box and side panels, as well as light green accents which look to glow in the dark. Via Sneaker Obsession.

DC Shoes has released their LIFE collection for the holidays. The collection features both the Sector 7 and the Admiral High model in luxurious makeups.

Featuring premium grey nubuck, perforated side panels, black woven effect pattent leather toes and waxed laces, these kicks look slick. The Admiral features a blue foam-padded tongue and padded collar for extra comfort and support, along with performance cup sole construction for strength and flexibility.

The Sector 7, which also has touches of blue to accent the grey and black makeup, is almost nice enough to double as a dress shoe. It features a white bottom with DC’s trademark pill pattern. The sole design offers excellent contact, wear and flexibility.

This December, DC Life will release their holiday pack which takes inspiration from the British punk rock scene of the 80s. The pack includes three models – Admiral, Gatsby and Volcano – all dressed up in black premium leather with touches of red plaid.

The high top Admiral keeps the use of the plaid to a minimum, mainly in the lining of the shoes, while the other two models use the red plaid a bit more.

DC Shoes has hooked up with New Era to create this Enzo Ferrari inspired pack. Featuring red and black patent, perforated and premium leathers, these shoes offer a hot combination of color and texture.

To go along with the shoes, the 20/94 project offers a set of matching New Era caps. The hats feature a similar design as the snekaers, including perforated leather. Available now at select upper tier DC accounts for $250. Via Complex.

DC shoes has collaborated with Hawaiian-based brand, In4mation, to create the Ko’olau Volcano. Theses shoe are inspired by the volcanic remnants in the island of Oahu.

The Ko’olau Volcano shoe uses a brown suede upper and combines it with green accents (which are said to be inspired from the island’s golf courses).

These shoes have a lot of nice details, including the gold DC logo embellishment on the strap and the white and black laces. These shoes are expected to release on August 1st. Via Hypebeast.

Something bright and summery for the ladies – DC Shoes has just released two new Manteca 2 Mids.

Thes shoes feature colorful uppers in glittery shades. If you are looking to make a bold statement this summer, these sneakers will definitely do it. The shoe pictured above is kind of cool with a retro appeal, though very bright. The second colorway after the jumpy is just too overwhelming for me. The black against the pink is too much.

Check out these DC shoes that are a part of the Remix Project – a collaboration with Mike Shinoda. Shinoda is best known for his work with Linkin Park, the band he has been a part of since 1996.

The intrinsic designs used in these two shoes, the MSDC Xander and the MSDC Pride, are very interesting. Numerous patterns and textures are utilized to give the DC shoes a look of their own. The two main colors in the color scheme are gray and brown. Multiple shades of gray and brown appear throughout the design.

Proceeds from the MSDC Remix Series project go to a scholarship fund to support the Art Center College of Design, Mike’s alma mater.

Mike’s shoes will be showcased in a gallery show being held at the Japanese American National Museum. An opening event will be held for the public on July 11th from 8 -10pm. Both the MSDC Xander and the MSDC Pride will go on sale beginning August 1st at select boutiques worldwide and on Mike’s website. Via High Snobiety.

A couple month’s back we told you that Methamphibian is collaborating again with DC Shoes for this new edition in the label’s Artist Project. Now these kicks are set to drop.

This shoe actually color flips last year’s colorway for a look that is not completely unique but still impressive nonetheless.

These shoes use a leopard pattern and vibrant artwork for a dramatic look. The combination of the hot pink with black is always a popular colorway and I’m sure these will garner some attention. You can cop these at Atmos beginning on April 19th for 13,800 yen (about $135 USD). Via Hypebeast.
