Wu-Tang Clan x Fila Boots

Wu-Tang Clan x Fila Boots - #1

The Wu-Tang Clan had a big impact on rap and they also have put their stamp on the shoe scene with their yellow and black Dunk Highs being some of the most coveted shoes around. Now they have collaborated with Fila on a pair of boots, and I’m sure they will garnish some serious attention.

Using earth tones and strong construction, these all-weather boots are good for hiking in the outdoors as well as for city wear. Though people won’t be clamouring for these like the Dunks, they are definitely a cool pair of boots. The iconic Wu-Tang logo is evident on the side panel and heel, along with the CREAM acronym on the tongue. This collaboration is expected soon at Liquor, Women & Tears for ¥14,700 yen. Nike Free Hybrid Boot – Swan/Black Granite-White-Varsity Red

Nike Free Hybrid Boot - Swan/Black Granite-White-Varsity Red - #1

The newest hybrid shoe from Nike Sportswear is the Nike Free Hybrid Boot. Somewhere between a shoe and boot, this hybrid is equipped with Nike Free technology and an interesting design.

This particular clean colorway is reportedly a Babekub City exclusive. However, we’ll wait and see if that’s the case. The black laces offset these shoes and the red rickrack stitching on the tongue is a nice touch. Different color schemes of this hybrid boot may be on the horizon. Via High Snobiety.

Adrian Blanca x eS Fall 2008 Footwear

Adrian Blanca x eS Fall 2008 Collection

As part of the eS Fall collection, they collaborated with artist Adrian Blanca on these two models – the eS TT Deluxe and Accel TT L. Both shoes feature Blanca’s laser-etch artwork on the upper.

The white TT Deluxe sneaker uses the etching sparingly, just on the strap and side panels with the rest of the shoe remaining plain. The brown Accel TT L has an allover etching and a black gum sole. These shoes are built for comfort, flexibility and breathability with lightweight construction, a breathable tongue, foam footbed, gel insert and grippy flexible tread. I’m not sure if I like the look of the brown shoe – from a distance they might just look like your shoes are muddy. These shoes are expected at retailers within the month. Via High Snobiety.
