Nike SB Dunk High – Quagmire

Move over Simpsons there’s a new cartoon tearing into the Nike SB spotlight with the discovery of this “Quagmire” Nike SB Dunk High. This Dunk High was inspired by the popular Family Guy cartoon character, Quagmire, and features the red shirt and blue pants that he commonly wears in the show.  The sneaker sports blue suede on the toe, lacing area, and at the top of back heel with red suede and golden stars decorating the sides and half of the back heel. Currently there’s no release date information available but it’s rumored to drop in 2009.

Here is a detailed look at the amazing Jimmy Hendrix Experience - Custom Nike Dunk High designed by one of the top customizers in the sneaker community, Dez. Dez is known for his great artwork and clean style and he is also the creator of the famous Do The Dew Dunks. The inspiration for the artwork on this pair comes straight from the great guitarist, singer and songwriter, Jimmy Hendrix. The shoe itself is a masterpiece as it cleverly features the names of many of Jimmy Hendrix songs which were indeed smash top charts hits in the United States and the United Kingdom.

These wonderful Jimmy Hendrix Experience – Custom Nike Dunk High features a deep red and yellow color-way which is a perfect combination. Special props to Dez for creating such a shoe which is definitely going to inspire other artists to extract their inspiration for future projects from the past history and legends.
