Check out this upcoming colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV – Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe. These sneakers feature a Flint Grey/White/University Blue colorway that commemorates the Lakers days in Minneapolis.

This colorway way is dubbed “MPLS” because the jerseys they wore had “MPLS” on the front of them (see Kobe’s throwback version of these jerseys below – you can find these jerseys on eBay).

These kicks feature a semi-translucent University Blue outsole and the Fly Wire design. They will hit retailers in upcoming weeks, but you can get them now at marqueesole for $229.99.

The fourth signature shoe in Kobe’s line is set to release in January 2009. But many Kobe enthusiasts aren’t thrilled with the Zoom Kobe IV. This shoe is low cut, rather than highs normally seen in the Nike signature shoes of franchise athletes.

When Eric Avar created this shoe, Kobe wanted a low version so that he could prevent himself from losing seconds in reaction time. The shoe uses innovative technology, Lunar Foam and Flywire, while having some Zoom Air in the forefoot to balance out the sneaker.

Several new editions of the Zoom Kobe III have been released in recent months, and now Nike has just released a new limited edition Nike Zoom Kobe I.

This shoe features a traditional Kobe white and purple colorway that is sure to please Kobe fans. Though this sneaker is a Quickstrike release and only for China Nike accounts, you can order it right now at Kix-Files for $270.

These shoes combine Varsity Purple patent leather with a mostly white leather upper. The patent leather Swoosh and toe cap contrast nicely with the stark white of the rest of the shoe. The white “24″ on the heel is outlined in purple. Grab these now while you can because they are limited.

With the Olympics right around the corner, shoe companies are releasing the shoes that will be featured in Beijing. These Nikes are the kicks that Kobe Bryant will wear for Team USA as he attempts to help the United States reclaim the gold in 2008. In 2004, Argentina won the gold medal in Mens Basketball.

These shoes look extremely slick and should be a hit once the Olympics begin and Kobe, arguably one of the biggest names in all of the Olympic sports, begins to dominate the competition. Number ten, Kobe’s Team USA number, is featured prominently on these shoes. There is also a Team USA logo on the inside of the shoe and a Kobe logo on the tongue of the shoe. The latest edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe 3 pays tribute to Kobe’s high school – Lower Merion. Featuring the school colors of White, Burgundy and Silver, this Zoom Kobe 3 is sure to please. This sneaker is neither too loud nor too drab.

Making the jump from high school at Lower Merion to the NBA, Kobe went on to become one of the best players in the league. Despite the loss to the Rockets on Sunday, Kobe and his Lakers are still in prime position to make a run at the NBA title this season once his teammates Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum return from injuries.
