Gold and diamonds are though to suit wedding rings and jewelry better than footwear, but Nike is willing to destroy this convention as well. These pairs are so good, you could weigh them with gold and they would still be heavier.

The solid creme leather upper with the perforated diamond pattern on the front and mid panels contrast masterfully with the red accents of the laces. Diligent attention to detail brings this pair to life as it were the soul of a fallen giant from ages past. This is truly a marvelous creation.

Nike Zoom Lebron VI Akron

In the past couple months, we have seen a variety of versions of LeBron’s Zoom 6, including the Family Pack, Miami, Big Apple and others.

Yesterday a new colorway hit the scene publicly. Dubbed the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 Triple Black “Batman”, this version features a LeBron/Batman logo on the tongue. It uses the Batman logo but it actually reads number 23 in the Gothic font.

The shoe features a combination of mesh and premium leather in an all black look. Like the rest of the Nike Zoom LeBron 6, I’m sure this Batman version will be a hit. Via Sole Collector.

Zoom Lebron Soldier 3

Nike continues its seemingly unending support for Lebron James with these new sneakers, the Zoom Lebron Soldier 3. Two colorways of the shoe that will release during the summer of 2009 has been seen thus far. The shoes will retail for $110. They have a strap on the front and a throwback feature. At this rate, there may be more Lebron sneakers than Jordan’s in the future. Those $90 million it paid for Lebron sure was worth it for Nike.

With the rate Team USA is going, there is no doubt that the Olympics finals is imminent. And once the finals comes under way, Lebron will don the latest model of the Nike Zoom Lebron signature line, the Zoom Lebron VI. But the pair he will wear won’t be just any other Lebron VI, it will be the Lebron VI United We Rise edition, the same colorway that the now sold out Hyperdunks featured. Once Team USA wins gold, these shoes will be much coveted!

Nike Zoom Lebron VI

As Lebron dominates the court in the Beijing Olympics with the Soldiers, we’ve gotten a hold of a preview of his upcoming signature sneakers, the Nike Zoom Lebron VI. The shoes look quite simple, but they look a little chunky. One thing that people complain about regarding the Lebron line is its weight and it doesn’t seem to me that Nike has done anything about it. Overall, the V looks better, but maybe they’ll grow on me. Besides, the V didn’t grow on me until the China V came. Let’s just hope the China VI, if ever it releases, will be just as awesome.

Nike United We Rise Pack – 2008 BEIJING Olympics

Perhaps the biggest day in Chinese history has finally arrived. 8/8/08 Beijing Olympics. Here it is; there’s no denying it. To celebrate the most anticipated event of the year, Nike will release a special pack for the players who are participating in Team USA for the Olympics, the United We Rise Pack – 2008 Beijing Olympics. The shoes that will be in the pack include the Nike Zoom Soldier 2, the Nike Air Force 25 Low, Converse Wade Team Mid and the Nike Hyperdunk. All of the shoes feature a white upper with blue and red accents, true to the colors of the United States. The tattoo-style laser etchings in the shoes take inspiration from anything ranging from American culture, basketball, and the characteristics that make people rise above to the top. The tongue of every shoe in the pack has the United We Rise logo. The United We Rise Hyperdunks have already released today for $150. Don’t miss the other pairs. The Soldier 2s will retail for $150 and the AF25 for $100.
