LeBron James was crowned the MVP of the 2008-2009 NBA regular season, so of course he had to create a shoe to honor the occasion. And as soon as they arrived they were gone selling out in minutes. Many collectors were irate when they had learned the MVP Edition had sold out on the Nike Store without fair warning and created quite an up roar which apparently reached Nike headquaters. Nike will be giving all you disgruntled potiential buyers another opportunity to pick these up this weekend. The Nike Zoom LeBron VI will be releasing this Saturday May 30 at the House of Hoops in limited quanities and will most likely sell out immediately. The above sneaker will be representing The City of Angels in the LeBron VI City Pack due to drop next year. We already showed you the NYC and Miami versions of LeBron’s sixth signature shoe, which did a pretty good job for their respective cities. The LA version is similar to the Athlete version that dropped in October, because of the light grey upper. The upper is actually a mixture of light and dark grey leather and fabric, with a dark grey swoosh outlined in black leather. Near the near you will see LeBron’s Dunkman Logo in white surrounded by five circles filled with five different colors (red, blue, green, orange, and yellow). The midsole is covered entirely in graffiti style writing with LeBron-themed words like; Ohio, Akron, Fearless, and Passion just to name to a few.
