Joining the G.I. Joe Pack is this Nike Alpholution Supreme “Cobra Commander” inspired kicks. This colorway features the Cobra logo on the tongue of a blue and red colorway to go with Cobra Commander’s fits. 3M has been liberally applied as well, representative of the Commander’s shiny silver mask. Nike have been releasing kicks on all of our favorite action figure toys. After giving us a few Transformers remakes, Nike, once again, brings out the kids in us in this new collection in honor of this highly anticipated film G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra.
This G.I. Joe collection features a Nike Zoom Sharkalaid, inspired by the Storm Shadow character in the movie. The shoe features a 100% white leather base with a grey sole, black/red cross straps, black shoelaces and a cobra imprint design on the insole. The Nike Zoom Sharkalaid “Storm Shadow”, along with two more G.I. Joe inspired sneakers, will hit select retailers this August. Via FootLocker

Bathing Ape in collaboration of Columbia pictures created a line of bapestas and clothes to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the 80s hit comedy “Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters”. The lineup consists of two pairs of Bapestas, one in white/red and the other a red/white colorway. Both feature the Ghostbusters famous logo on the heel of the sneaker as well as on the upper back ankle support. Also included as part of the collection are a couple of shirts as well as a coffee mug. Now available at all Bape stores & on ebay.

The long wait is over! The much talked about & much awaited Hyperize Pack will be released in Australia at Footlocker locations this Saturday, July 18. The pack is based from the 1992 film “White Men Can’t Jump” featuring Woody Harrelson as Billy Boyle & Wesley Snipes as Sidney Deane as Venice Beach street ballers. The colorways are inspirations from these two characters. The Nike Hyperize “Sidney Deane” comes in a black, blue and red colorway while the Nike Hyperize “Billy Hoyle” is in the white, green and blue colorway.

Reebok released a collection inspired by the 1994 Movie “GREMLINS” . This is the Gremlins pack and its dubbed the Perfectly Pack and within the pack there is the Gremlins Pair (evil, reptilian) & there is also the Gizmo pair (good, furry). The model that is used in the pack by Reebok is the Pump Omni Lite. The fur and the pink bottom is featured on the Gizmo pair of the Omni Lite and while the green leather snake and green bottom is featured on the Gremlins pair. The theme actually went well on both of the sneakers, the upper on both the sneakers make the sneakers come out the way that it did. These are now available at your exclusive Reebok retailers and online retailers such as Mita Sneakers.
Let’s have a look on one of the two sneakers in the Reebok Gremlins Pack. The Reebok Pump Omni Lite pays tribute to the Gremlin-good guy, Gizmo.
The upper on the Gizmo Reebok Pump Omni Lite consists of a fur upper in brown and white which relates perfectly to Gizmo. It also comes with white fur on the inner lining, a light pink translucent sole and an extra set of light beige laces to go along with the fur on the upper. Further accents of pink are spotted on the tongue and Reebok branding throughout the shoes. These were available on the 25th Anniversary of the film, June 8th.
Not all Gremlins are cute and fuzzy; actually, most aren’t and that’s where these come in. Along with the Gizmo, Reebok has released the ‘anti-Gizmo’ or the villainous green Gremlin counterpart. The shoe features a Green leather snake skin upper styled after the green scaly villains from the 80’s cult classic, dark green midsole, lime green outsole, and a white fur sock liner. Feel free to grab a pair or two, just remember don’t get them wet & don’t feed them after midnight.
