This hybrid shoe first debuted on the cover of latest issue of Sole Collector with Penny Hardaway and a few of the shoes that had a hand in creating the ½ Cent. It was made to honor Anfernee’s All-Star career and to celebrate his time with Nike. “Penny” Hardaway ‘s signature line has been retored full circle in the last year and what a better way to close it out then with a combination of all his shoes rolled into one super shoe.

The first thing you’ll notice about the ½ Cent is the mostly foamposite upper from the Foamposite I in the original royal blue. The transparent outsole also takes after the Foamposite I. The shoe itself is mainly molded after the Air Penny III but also uses parts of the Air Penny I, II and IV. There is also a black color way in the making.
