The Opium Barcelona opened on July 3. This marked the release of Jordan VII Miro. This shoe is a homage tribute to the Spanish artist, Miro. Joan Miro i Ferra was a Catalan/Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramicist. His work was interpreted as Surrealism. This sneaker is available only in limited qualities in selected stores worldwide.
The toe box is white in color. There is a colorful graphic of a basketball/background in brilliant colors of red, blue and yellow. The toe box is flanked by black leather and this is the main body of the shoe. The shoe lace is colorful with yellow, red, blue stripes. The tongue is a piece of black leather.
The ankle of the shoe has at least 3 overlapping designs. The top most layer is a black piece with a yellow figure of the Jordan brand’s logo. At the backstab, there is a short strap that has similar pin strip colors as the shoe lace.
The midsole is white, with two sets of ridges. Each ridge is red and yellow in color. I like these as they look like mountains in a landscape. This is a colorful shoe that is great for casual occasions.
