Nike has collaborated with Uno Caol to design a new shoe under the 10 AC label. The two designing teams worked on the new model of Air Max 90 Current. This shoe has a white/blue/black colorway. This shoe is available for pre-orders at Kix-Files. The website said it costs around $160 per pair.

The toe box and midsection look to be joined together at a seam that is almost invisible. The toe box is made of meshed material. The midsection uses thick, woven material. The blue mudguard runs along the side of the shoe. There is a long panel cut into this blue material to allow the inclusion of the Air Max label and to show the black segment of the heel. The rounded portion of the heel is made of a black colored segment. At the back tab, there is a grey panel.

The shoe lace is a thin, blue string. The tongue is made of the same woven material and has a 10 AC tag facing the outside. The collar of the ankle is white and so is the inner lining of the shoe. The front half of the midsole has deep treads cut into the white sole. The second half of the sole has finer treads and is blue colored. This is a good looking shoe with most of the color concentrated on the second half portion of the sneaker.

Nike comes up with the brand new Air Max 90 Current model and this gets the seamless design treatment. The special distinguishing features of this model are that it uses all suede for the upper, it has no seams and no stitching. The release date is not known yet.

The shoe’s toe box and midsection are perforated. The holes are regular sized and are arranged in patterns that follow the natural flow of the shoe. The different areas of the shoe are marked off by smaller sized perforations. These look like holes for machine stitches, minus the thread. The Nike swoosh is in plain, black leather. The perforations are interrupted where the label of Air Max is embossed on the suede. The shoe’s inner lining and midsole are white in color. They form the interesting accent and contrast to the all black shoe.

From the photograph, it shows that the shape of the upper has been carefully cut to follow the natural structure of the foot. This allows the seamless shoe to be comfortable for the wearer. The black color is good and helps to moderate the look of the sneaker to avoid making it look too loud.

The Nike Air Max 90 has been popular since its launch. The Air Max 90 Current is an alternative to the current Air Max line-up. These Artist Editions of the shoes will be released in August. The sneakers are sold at Kix-files for about $165 each.

The orange colorway has been designed by Kevin Lyons. The design is very streamlined when viewed from the side. The toe box is in orange leather, covered by a layer of orange mesh. The partial mudguard at the side of the shoe is white colored and follows the streamline of the shoe in a curve. The white Nike swoosh sits above the mudguard. The main colorway is orange. At the ankle, there is a semi-collar of grey, meshed material. This is interrupted by an orange backtab. The collar of the inner lining has a pattern on the material. The Air Max label sits in a panel that is colored orange.

The white/grey/purple colorway looks good too. The toe box has white mesh. The midsection has grey leather and the Nike swoosh is purple. Above the swoosh sits the panel of mesh material. In the midsole, the Air Max label sits in a black colored panel. I prefer the subtle colors of this pair of sneakers, rather than the orange colored pair.
