Almost one year ago to the day, the Nike Air 1/2 Centhit the internet for the first time. this Nike Air 1/2 Cent mixes up features from the classic Penny Hardaway line in order to create the signature shoe for Lil Penny. The colorway contains a predominantly black upper with only a hint of Metallic Silver. These are not scheduled to drop until next month, they have already popped up on eBay for pre-order with an expected arrival of early August at the latest.
This Nike Air Penny 3 is in white and royal blue colorway. This shoe will be released in March 2009. This shoe was made in honor of Penny. Penny has been sidelined due to injury but not forgotten by Nike. This Nike Penny 3 is meant to be a classic. The cost of this Nike Air Penny 3 is $155 and slightly below the price of the other Penny shoes. You can look for these shoes at the usual Nike retailers.
The toe box joins with the rest of the shoe upper. There are about 4 rows of perforations all neatly arranged. The white shoe lace contrasts with the black tongue. The shoe lace is a thick string that matches with the look of this shoe. At the tip of the tongue, there is a tab hook. This feature is repeated at the back tab of the shoe. The royal blue portion covers approximately half of the shoe. The midsole almost disappears for the center of the shoe while the heel has a prominent midsole. The Nike Air Penny III will be re-issued in 2009. This release features the smooth, liquid look of the Foamposite. This model promises a unique style and performance. Look for it in the Nike website.
There are no separate panels for the shoe lace braces. It forms a part of the main upper, and continues down to the toe box. There are 3 neat vertical columns of perforations on the toe box. The black leather has a fine grain. The small Nike swoosh looks elegant near the heel. The midsole has the silver-black shield that rises above the midsole like a wave. This gives the shoe a futuristic look.
At the side of the heel, the small window allows a tiny peek into the air technology used in the heel. The midsole at the bottom of the heel has another transparent window. I think this shoe emphasizes quite a bit on the air technology. The heel has a short black and blue striped tag. The back of the heel has the Air logo.
The mainly black color theme used in this show gives it a classy look. The small amounts of accents in blue and white are just sufficient to dress up the shoe.

The Nike Air Penny 2 Miami Heat colorway is a commemorative shoe for Penny Hardaway. Hardaway played in 16 games for Miami Heat in 2007. Hardaway contributed a lot on the basketball court, to NBA and the world of basketball shoes. Nike has designed this sneaker to pay tribute to their sponsored player. Nike considers Penny Hardaway as one of their best protégés in the sponsorship program. This design is expected to hit the shelves in 2009. Look for it in the Nike website. The black colorway on the upper looks classy. The shoe lace region and inner upper perimeter is outlined in red border. The tongue is in pin strips and ends with a black colored tag. The midsole is unique with its rising white hump to fit into the natural hollow of the foot. The heel and tip of tongue have nylon slings in black and white pattern. The outsole is red, with embedded black colored concentric strips. You can see part of the air cushion technology embedded inside the heel. Zoom Air is proudly embossed on the outsole. I think the white high midsole is the outstanding feature and selling point of this basketball sneaker.
