After the white/red-black colorway from the Air Penny III, another release is scheduled this June for the Nike Air Penny III in white/eggplant-black retro look. Of course, a sneaker being inspired with a vegetable is somewhat questionable and would trigger various reactions. Can you share me your comments while looking at the pictures from Foot Locker Unlocked and catalog images months ago? Would you buy a pair for $155?

The classic Nike Air Penny III is making a comeback. We saw a couple of Air Pennys in 2009, but this colorway is one of the best i have seen on the Air Penny III. Most people will probably agree with me. This latest Nike Air Penny III comes in an White/Eggplant/Black colorway. Eggplant foam is placed on the toe and along the side of the sneaker, while the upper is made of white leather. Black is seen on the liner and heel loop. A light shade of purple is used above the Air bubble heel. This Eggplant Air Penny III will drop on June 18th at Nike Sportswear retailers.

The Nike Air Penny III is a legendary shoe, but it hasnt been around for a while now. Here we see the comeback of the Air Penny III, which will make most sneakerheads excited to see. The shoe comes in a brand new colorway, white/varsity red/black. Red is placed on the  foamposite piecing and part of the tongue while white leather is seen on the inner lining. Most of the tongue and outsole and done in black. After a long time, the Nike Air Penny III is back and its better than ever! Look for the Air Penny III to hit retailers on April 23rd, 2010.

There are no separate panels for the shoe lace braces. It forms a part of the main upper, and continues down to the toe box. There are 3 neat vertical columns of perforations on the toe box. The black leather has a fine grain. The small Nike swoosh looks elegant near the heel. The midsole has the silver-black shield that rises above the midsole like a wave. This gives the shoe a futuristic look.

At the side of the heel, the small window allows a tiny peek into the air technology used in the heel. The midsole at the bottom of the heel has another transparent window. I think this shoe emphasizes quite a bit on the air technology. The heel has a short black and blue striped tag. The back of the heel has the Air logo.

The mainly black color theme used in this show gives it a classy look. The small amounts of accents in blue and white are just sufficient to dress up the shoe.
