Here we have a preview of another Foamposite inspired sneaker. This Nike Blazer High uses blue foam for the upper, and a a black plastic swoosh on the side. The Blazer sports a carbon fiber print, and the shoe sits on a black sole. These Nike Blazers are expected to hit House of Hoops this month.
Nike has taken tattoo styled graphics into account with this pair of Nike Blazer Highs. They feature an all white base, adding red leather to the Swooshes and heel tab. The most important feature is the black and grey sketches that go from the outer heel all the way back around to the inner toes. Look for them now at select Nike retailers.
2009 marks the 20th anniversary of Spike Lee’s legendary Do The Right Thing, and in honor of Lee’s successful film, Nike has issued two special themed colorways. The Spike Lee Pack features both the Blazer High and the Big Nike. Both shoes are dressed in a red, white, and black uppers and feature Lee’s iconic specs on the tongue. The Big Nike consists of a full grain leather upper. The Blazer High is marked by a white perforated upper, red swoosh, black midsole, and green accents. You can expect the pack to hit Nike retailers by early October.

After the “White Men Can’t Jump” Nike Air Flight Lite High and the “Teen Wolf Nike Dunk Low Premium, the third shoe in the Media Pack commemorating basketball movies is this Blazer High Premium. This shoe is inspired by the 1986 movie, “Hoosiers” starring Gene Hackman and Dennis Hooper. One of the best basketball movies made, the flick tells an inspirational tale of a small town high school basketball team overcoming adversity in the 1950s.
To match the old school basketball movie, Nike selected the Blazer High in red and gold to match the team’s uniforms. Like the others in the Media Pack, these sneakers are available in very limited quantities at Osneaker and House of Hoops. Via Kicks on Fire.
This Saturday, October 25th, the NBA Blazer High Los Angeles Clippers and the rest of the NBA Pack will be released in limited quantities at select Nike retailers including UNDFTD.

This is a limited edition of George “Iceman” Gervin Blazer Hi. This shoe was designed to honor George Gervin. This will be released at the House of Hoops (HOH) soon. The shoe’s colorway is inspired by the colors of San Antonio Spurs.
The toe box is a small area that is marked off by two double lines of machine stitches. The shoe upper is grey with white accents. The shoe lace and Nike swoosh are the white accents. On the background of the swoosh, there is a figure of a basketball player with two balls in his hands. This is supposed to be the outline figure of “Iceman.” There are several lines of machine stitches across the midsection. These attempt to give some details to the otherwise plain colored shoe upper.
The back tab is a square piece of black leather with white letters to spell “Ice.” The central strip of white leather running down the back of the heel make the shoe look like it has a cross at the heel. The midsole and outsole are grey colored. The color scheme of the shoe looks icy cool. The showpiece had a different method of tying the shoe lace; with the threading straight across the holes. This method of shoe lace tying is according to individual preferences.
If you are a fan of AI, Carmelo and the rest of the Denver Nuggets, this shoe may be for you. Featuring a Varsity Royal blue suede upper and Maize inner lining and midsole, these sneakers will definitely stand out.
