Nike Hyperdunk – Metallic – Gold Black Silver

Out of all of the Nike Hyperdunks we have seen in the pasts weeks these would have to be my favorite. Last summer, Nike re-released a Retro version of the stunning Metallic Gold Air Flightposite, one of the boldest looking Nike basketball models of all time. Now the Metallic Gold is making its way onto the Hyperdunk. This pair hosts a metallic gold base, black mid-panel, gold flywire, black tongue, silver midfoot, and black laces. Additional sections of the upper are Black with a Silver midsole section adding a nice bit of contrast.  No release info yet on these but keep a look out for updates.

Nike Hyperdunk – Rice High School Home PE – Sample

Nike Hyperdunk - Rice High School Home PE - Sample

Nike Hyperdunk - Rice High School Home PE - Sample

This hyperdunk is a tribute to the superman of basketball and his hyperlegendary high school. Suitable to the theme, this is a stunning, ostentatious sample of power that quickly trashes everything that has the audacity to challenge its supremacy in the field.

Mighty kicks, sharp leaps, and swift leaps are the lot of the owner of this magical creation from Nike. Like the invincible power of that remarkable genius of basketball, these will dominate the sneaker scene, and rise on the pedestal of maginificence with the umimaginable dazzle witnessed in the pictures.

Who on earth can dare to contest the legendary talents of the master designers? Only the fool, the blind, or the mad. The legend lives on.

Nike Hyperdunk “That Ain’t Right” Pack

The Nike Hyperdunk That Ain’t Right Pack is on sale at the Nike Online Store. It goes for $110. There are three colorways to choose from.

Let’s look at the black/white colorway. The black toe box and shoe lace panel form a continuous segment. The midsole is made like a mudguard. The center of the sole has a light blue shield. The blue accent is found in the collar of the ankle.

The next shoe has a white and black colorway that is reversed from the former discussed above. The toe box is white. The midsection is black. This colorway is a little less striking but it looks traditional with its formal black and white design. There is a photo of the outsole. The message “That ain’t right” is printed on big letters on the outsole and covered by a large plastic piece.

The last Hyperdunk in the Pack has white, red and black in the colorway. The white toe box leads to a black tongue that is laced over by a red shoe lace. The Nike swoosh is red. The other red accents are at the backtab and midsole.

These three shoes are unique in their own right. They belong to a great Pack. (Images)

“Think Pink” Nike Hyperdunk

Nike has collaborated with Kay Yow to design products for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The new series of Nike Pink Products has the goal of raising money to fight cancer. This pack of pink colored Hyperdunks will be sold at House of Hoops branch store at 3 locations. This edition of Nike Hyperdunks is a very special edition. There is matching Nike gear. All products under the pink project will see their proceeds benefit Kay Yow’s cancer fund. The collection will be released on Feb. 1st, 2009.

Kay Yow, the women’s basketball coach of North Carolina State University, has gone on a medical leave because she has to take care of her health. Yow has breast cancer for the third time.

The pink colored sports shirt, or singlet, has “NC State” to signify Yow’s home state and team. It has her logo on it. The Nike-Kay Yow basketball has a pink Nike swoosh and Kay Yow logo. The positioning of the two logos is neat.

The Nike Hyperdunk is pink with off white or grey colored accents. Kay Yow is honored by having her logo at the tip of the tongue. The pink shoe is pretty and will look good as a casual dress shoe. (Images)

Nike Hyperdunk – New Colorways

Nike Hyperdunk - New Colorways - #1

We saw alot of colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk in the summer around the launch and the Olympics, but since then things have slowed down a bit. Now, just in time for the holiday season, Nike Basketball has added some fresh new colorways.

The three here include white/red-black, black/university blue-white and white/navy-ice.

Each shoe features translucent, icy soles that read “That aint’ right” on the bottom. “That ain’t right” is from the Nike advertising campaign where players were dunking over each other. Expect these new colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk to be at your local store in the upcoming weeks. Via Footlocker Unlocked.

Nike Hyperdunk University Series - #1

If you are wondering what kicks your favorite college basketball team will be wearing this year, there’s a good chance they’ll be rocking Nike Hyperdunks. In these pictures you can see the Hyperdunks that will be worn by four college teams – Syracuse Orangemen, Texas Longhorns, Oregon Ducks and Kentucky Wildcats.

Each of these versions does a nice job incorporating the team colors into the Hyperdunk model. We don’t know when all of these makeups will be release to the public but check out House of Hoops in Harlem once college basketball season gets rolling. Via Sole Collector.

Nike Hyperdunk Kobe Ronaldinho

Source of image: here.

This Nike Hyperdunk Kobe Ronaldinho is a combination because Ronaldinho is Kobe Bryant’s favorite soccer player. Bryant was said to be a fan of Ronaldinho and watches him whenever he plays. The two athletes supposedly are agreeable to share a shoe so Nike has designed one for them. This awesome looking Hyperdunk is made in FC Barcelona’s colors. The crest from the Spanish Club is used on the sneaker. Kobe Bryant’s shozoko signature design and his number 24 are used on the shoe. There is no information on when this sneaker will be released.

The toe cap extends up to the shoe lace region in light sky blue. The orange mesh tongue and shoe lace look bright against the blue. Even the lace has details in having double line of stitched thread running along like borders. The midsection is blue with the white Nike swoosh like a streak of white cloud against its blue background.

The back tab is a large panel of yellow leather with “Nike” embossed on it. The outsole is mostly black with specks of white. There is a yellow circle that encases the Nike logo. The midsole is red and black, with the black outsole rising up to meet the midsole.
