Nike Vandal Hi Checkered Grey

These are probably the hottest Nike Vandals i have seen ever seen. I think there so hot that i might consider picking up one of these bad boys. The multi-material monochromatic basketball sneaker definitely packs a stylish punch with its checkered side panel while the rest of the upper is constructed of mesh and leather. Mesh is used on the toe-box, midpanel and tongue while leather is used on the frontal, lace panels and Nike Swoosh. The heel panel sports a two-toned grey checkered pattern while white is added to the mid-sole, tongue tag and the outline around the grey leather Nike Swoosh. The Greeks believed Hermes to be male. But if Hermes had known about these shoes, he might have decided to have a sex change operation. Guys can get these for the loved ones in their lives, but they are so beautiful that the girl may end up falling for the sneakers and forgetting about the boyfriend altogether.

The pair features an extremely shiny silver material on the upper, helping it dazzle and awe with its unrestrained beauty. The colors are pure, bright and proud. There’s not much that can be belittled here.

“Screwed Up” the Nike Vandal

The “Screwed Up” Nike Vandal will be released at the grand opening of the House of Hoops in Houston, Texas. The special day has been fixed to be on February 21, 2009. This sneaker has been designed with Houston in mind. This shoe reflects the party spirit of Houston.

The colorway is purple candy with a smooth, wet finish. There is a special effect with dripping purple paint flowing down to the white midsole. It looks so cool. The seams of the shoe are done in silver and are the accents of the shoe. The Nike swoosh is made of a material that looks like chrome.

The shoe lace is purple in keeping with the purple color of the shoe. The shoe strap around the collar of the ankle is purple with a central white strap. This has a sky blue tag with the traditional Nike logo. The collar at the ankle is decorated with a light blue rim. We see the blue repeated on the back tab, with prominent “Nike” lettering in white. The royal candy purple has been reserved for the upper. The outsole uses light blue. (Images)

We have seen a lot of colorways of the Nike Vandal in recent months and now here’s another one for the ladies. This Nike Vandal High features a silver leather upper highlighted with yellow accents.

It also has a dark grey speckled pattern used on the mid panel and toe box. The contrast in colors and use of the yellow gives these sneakers a cool, modern look. These kicks are available right now at Grip.

A while back we told you about the Nike Vandal Hi Vintage in this red, white and blue colorway and now it’s available at Purchaze.

The Nike Vandal Hi Vintage come in the White/Varsity Red-Varsity Royal Colorway and a highly-underrated sneaker. Classic shape made of fresh white canvas, red swoosh and blue accents. Featuring a white/red sole unit. Comes with a second pair of red laces!

The Nike Vandal basketball shoe came out in the mid 80´s – very close in design to the Air Force 1 at a time when the Air Force 1 was nearly impossible to find. They were one of the first all nylon upper high top basketball sneakers which meant they were not only more breathable than traditional leathers but also a good deal lighter.

I haven’t been a fan of a lot of these vintage sneakers that have come out in the last year or so. However this one has an old school appeal that I like. You can order these shoes from Purchaze right now for about $154 USD.

Check out these futuristic kicks that are being released on June 6th. Called Nike Vandal High Supreme EX, these shoes are one of the most innovative shoes that we’ve seen in 2008. Even though they are quite pioneering, they still have a classic feel about them.

The three main colors on these shoes are green, black and gold. The green is a dark shade that is very close to black. The gold is metallic gold and it really stands out next to the dark green and the black. The ridges and details on these shoes are most impressive.
