Nike SB P. Rod 3

Not a real skateboard fan but i said what the heck why not give you skateboard fans out there a little treat. Paul Rodriguez, one of the world’s best skaters, has already released two signature models with Nike SB, Is planning to release his third signature Nike SB, the P. Rod 3. The third model from Paul Rodriguez’s line takes a few elements from the past two models, including the side quilted panel, and meshes them together with some new school flavor to create a skateboarding sneaker that will last long and look great. This style of the P. Rod 3 hosts a white leather upper with black accents on the swoosh, tongue, and laces, while red accents are seen on the lace holes and heel. Look for these to drop in August 2009.

Nike SB Tokyo Mids x Tokidoki Concept

Sneaker designer Villain Customs created a Nike SB concept recently for fashion boutique Tokidoki. The result was a hot design called the Nike SB Tokyo Mids x Tokidoki Concept, which reflects Villain’s unique vision through cartoons and Eastern imagery. I found these photos at the Villain Customsnkr.com blog linked here.

The background pattern for the Nike SB Tokyo Mids is black with an assortment of clouds and shapes painted in gold. The left shoe features a funny little character dressed in a cactus suit and the right shoe presents a beautiful Japanese woman surrounded by a golden aura. Villain continued the black/gold backdrop on the toe boxes surrounded by a gray toe.

Villain uses a bright pink Nike swoosh and SB logo to cut through the simple colors used elsewhere on these customs. After looking at the Tokidoki website linked here, Villain Customs seems to have fit his Nike SB Tokyo Mids into the boutique’s aesthetic. You can learn more about Villain Customs and his work on the Nike SB Tokyo Mids concepts by heading to the designer’s website linked here.

Custom Nike SB Dunk – Tigertaxi

Deinzconie from ISS designed these custom Nike SB Dunks. Deinzconie started off with a pair of the Taxi Nike SB Dunks and painted the heel panel, lace tab and frontal all blue and then laid down a tiger like pattern in a purple over that. Lastly his signature was added on the bottom of the heel panel. The simple job looks so much better then the original OG Taxis if you ask me. With some simple cleaning up here and there such as adding another coat to the stripes.

However, this coming holiday season Lance Mountain has a Blazer Pack of his own. The Nike SB Blazer Pack by Lance Mountain features a pair of black leather Blazer Highs, a tee shirt, a ball cap, and a M-65 style jacket. This Nike SB Blazer High comes in a casual black and white colorway and features fine materials and craftsmanship, which is what one would expect from Lance’s own classic and timeless style.

The shoes are said to be inspired by a vintage leather M-65  jacket that Lance owns. Their uppers feature fine soft black leather, with a red quilted interior lining. All of the accessories feature original artwork from Lance.
