Lifeguard Air Force Ones

We have just pushed past the symbolic middle of the summer last week with Fourth of July celebrations. Atex Productions is celebrating the brave men and women who patrol America’s beaches with a pair of custom Nike Air Force Ones. These sneakers are dubbed the Lifeguards and bring together familiar images from the typical beach.

The toe boxes and Nike swooshes on the Lifeguards are painted blue to symbolize the vast waters patrolled by lifeguards. Atex added red crosses underneath the ocean blue swooshes to get the attention of swimmers, surfers and sand castle builders. There is a cool graphic on the heel that shows the lifeguard’s role as guardian over coastal waters.

Atex Productions has a MySpace page linked here where sneaker fans can check out custom projects as well as new music.
