The Reebok Court Victory Pump II has been released in two colorways – White/Blood Orange and White/Veridan Green. The Blood Orange colorway was made a classic by being on the feet of Michael Chang in 1992.

The base color on all three versions is black and the back heel features a tennis ball design. The difference in each colorway is the secondary color – blue, pink or yellow.

Nike has created a clean series of the Tennis Classic CL as part of the Nike Spring 2009 collection.
These shoes feature a simple makeup of crisp white uppers with basic color details. The color is used on the tongue, heel tab, thin midsole stripe and outersole. Colors available include white/navy, white/pink, white/red, white/orange and white/green.

With a history dating back to 1936, the Spring Court shoes have been around for a long time. Originally, the shoes were made to give tennis players an advantage on the tennis court. Today, the Spring Court shoes continue their old school look while adding some modern technology and materials.
In this Fall 2008 lineup, you can see a number of different colorways and styles. However, the one thing all the shoes have in common is their simple look. The brown (they call it bronze) edition is allover suede and features tone-on-tone topstitched insets on the toe and sides. Personally, I prefer the brown version. Check out these two versions of the Nike Tennis Classics that make up the upcoming “Rebel Pack.” While these shoes certainly won’t blow you away, they are definitely a blast from the past. With the old school look still hot in 2008, this release by Nike is sure to turn a few heads and open a few wallets.
The first color scheme features a white and fluorescent orange combination. This shade is a unique color that may or may not work well with your wardrobe. The other color scheme is more universal as it features white and blue. On both shoes, the white is used the most but the secondary color stands on the Nike swoosh and on the backs of the shoes.

Fila has not been a strong player in the sneaker market since the late 1990s. The brand’s basic tennis and casual shoes were passed up quickly by brands like Puma, Vans and Adidas. Fila tried to keep up with simple basketball shoes but the competition from Reebok and Nike was stiff. The brand is returning strong with the Fila Centre Court.
This casual shoe is available in white and blue with the primary colors alternated between two available models. The Centre Court is designed for tennis players with a comfortable sole and soft leather exterior. These characteristics make it a great shoe for walkers, skateboarders and others who aren’t thinking about hitting the local tennis court in spring.
The last time I had a pair of Filas was high school when I needed new shoes for basketball. I was less than impressed with Fila’s style after I bought a pair of Gary Payton Nikes the next season. The brand’s new focus will go a long way toward drawing in skeptical sneaker fans like myself.
